Im ATC, this is a comparable facility that shows what base salary is like after you complete training.

Normally people with overtime, night pay, holidays, etc end up making an additional 15% on top of the $140+ base salary.

In some places facilities people are driving brand new cars or trucks, but generally the younger 30's crowd is having kids and just not living super flashy.

Random weekend travels, or vacations out of the country are probably the go to. The more $$ you make doesn't always mean the flashier the lifestyle

When I start my job on the civilian side with FEMA, I will finally be well above 100 and if we do a combined it will be 200+ combined. But until that point I never made 100K even counting deployments I may have been close but never went over it. With my retirement, VA, and the GS12 pay I am finally over 100K.

Since January of this past year I started making $325,000 a year as a SRE for the government. The funny thing though is that I still live with my folks from time to time (I have to travel). I've also been in a great relationship but unfortunately that will probably come to a end soon....other than that i don't have any debt or anything holding me back

My current lifestyle hasn't changed much besides upgrading my wardrobe. I still drive my 2014 vw passat, I still rock crocs most of the time and the money hasn't changed me...well it just made me more generous because I'm in a position to help others out.

For instance i paid for a trip to Las Vegas for my family for inependence day weekend (10 people total, staying at the cosmopolitan). I put my mom, her brother and his wife in first class(Delta/United) and placed them in the terrace suite...my younger cousins though I put them on spirit airlines lol...I did it on purpose to show them that life is all about choices..I can go on but I love my family and I just want them to have a good time.

After the trip I'm done splurging and im going to start getting into real estate investing pretty heavily....my plan is to get a couple houses and have my other family members work on them (remodel/sell/etc) so we can all get paid..im hoping that it could be the beginning of something great...

This has been a plan of mine since 2014 and its crazy how it's all falling into place but its scary at the same time because nothing is guaranteed. I guess my plan is my own version of reparations, but for my family.
This was dope. I Almost 😍 it

Definitely not living it up.

i've been grinding hard this year, I am on pace to comfortably clear $1 mil. I am single, live in a big city, rent and utilities set me back about $4000. Probably spend another $3000-$5000 on food and drinks, a little more in the summer when I have friends and family come to visit. I have a couple of nice watches and usually wear Walmart V-neck tees. Don't really care much for traveling.

I am pretty unassuming, I kinda like the fact that I blend, just a regular guy.

Yes. Wife pulls in 20k more than me
Young kids, pets
Cars long paid off (both over 10 years old :heh:)
Owe $500k on our house (which is worth $1.4mill)
We want to upgrade to a bigger house but would be looking at least 1.8mill pre renovations to stay in our city :snoop:
Toronto cost of living is different :beli:

I hear ya breh. I'm in almost the exact same situation. Still have payments on my wife's car though.

Yes I do I don’t make enough money

I have a 2020 Benz AmG with a 27.7% apr

Two cellphones one for the thots and the other for business

Gym membership that I only use once every blue moon for the eye candy

50,000 in cc debt from splurging on clothes, bottle service expensive dinners with the ladies

Student loan debt from my MBA and bachelors degrees

I also pay 2500 a month to live close to work so I won’t have to commute

Take a vacation every summer to the tropics to get away from white supremacy and Americanized women

I never cook my own meals or go out to get them and instead just DoorDash everything. No tip because I’m trying to save money

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
That apr is unholy my nikka wtf

Make more than that but I'm married with a house and a child now. I live like a regular person tbh.

Before the kid and the house though :whew:
