Neither. I'm not an overly aggressive, loud or assertive guy so I'm not an alpha. But I don't consider myself a passive follower or docile beta either. I'm aloof, reserved, calculating. I can be controlling, however I've never really been accused of being bossy in my professional or personal life. I want things done right, and I'll tip the scale to ensure it's done right, regardless of what I have to do. Before I took a management position this meant me obsessing and doing shyt the way I want until I was satisfied. Now that I manage two groups of people - a smaller group of interns and a medium group of professionals - I delegate, teach, and cajole to ensure things don't blow up.

I'd rather be the guy in the back of the room, making sure everything up front is working.
