I'm not a boomer. And I manage these people. They always try to come back after they emotionally quit. I would say 65% of the time because in reality they can't actually hold down jobs.

We had a guy quit because he didn't want to work weekend. He went to another company out of spite and working weekends for that company is mandatory and the pay less. He is already trying to come back.

If you think the majority of these people are "strategically" quitting you're delusional. It's majority emotional. Big grown irresponsible children.

i can understand not working weekends because im the same way but he took a job out of spite that pays less and working weekends yeah he a clown for that i wouldn't hire his azz back

Who says we are hiring just because they want to come back? We take people back when we are hiring and if they were a good worker.

my hats off to them ...im from the tale end of GenX and we basically just followed the script of what our babyboom parents did only with college debt.

I hated living at home with parents.. I've been living on my own for 25 years, and I know that wouldn't be possible if my parents coddled me and let me live like a zoomer..

I respect Gen Z's hustle....but it's a lot easier to do that when you have no kids and parents to support you...pay your bills etc.

The real test comes when you gotta hold your own nuts .

The ideal approach is to have a good 9 to 5 (with cheap healthcare) and THEN have streams of income on the side. My Millenial and Gen X peoples understand the benefits of doing both.

Gen Z loves the freedom of side hustles but misses out on easy money and healthcare with a 9 to 5.

I feel gen z for doing this but i think millennials born between 89 thru 95 started this i would be damn to work in a toxic,racist environment with managers that are disrespectful thinking they can talk to you in any way the stories i hear what my dad and uncles with thru at the steel plant dealing with racists cacs and out here in the chicago land area it's mexicans that are racists now in the warehouse,plant and factory jobs now every time i would see a older brother get sneak diss or flat out disrepected i would bounce till i got my CDL i don't know how gen x and baby boomers stay at a job for 30+ years getting shytted on

Because they had to and would be homeless if they didn't. They didn't have the luxury comfort of chilling at home and playing ps5 in your pj's while looking for jobs sparingly here and there.

They went through that so you don't have to.
