i'm speaking on the trend, what I gave was 1 example

NAH IM SPEAKING ON
THE TREND AND YOURE
SPEAKING ON YOUR COUSIN.
In a trend being dubbed as the Great Resignation, the pandemic has triggered an employee exodus that continues today as people quit their jobs in record numbers. In June alone, 3.9 million workers resigned from their jobs nationwide, just down slightly from the record of 4 million set in April, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Meanwhile, job openings rose by 590,000 to a new high of 10.1 million positions.

ALL THESE COMPANIES DO
IS CUT THE WORK FORCE
WHEN THEY HAVE TO PAY
MORE PER HOUR...
SO AT THE END OF THE DAY
THEY STILL WIND UP
PAYING THE SAME IF NOT LESS.

THEYRE SETTING UP
AUTOMATED MACHINES
IN ALL THESE SPOTS.

Those automated machines dont even have people fixing them. These corporations are legit :sadbron: when they cannot find any workers. Some fast food places paying people $20 an hour, full time with benefits nowadays.

Only a matter of time when Wal Mart workers gonna unionize and raise wages considerably. :umad:

Yep. Gen Z fed up and will deliver the smoke against these employers by the drop of a hat. They already forcing some corporations to raise wages and improve conditions.

nope, ad what you posted makes my point Thanks. Like I said, I described a trend using an example. You didn't actually describe anything.
NO

YOU SAID THIS WAS HAPPENING
BEFORE THE PANDEMIC
AND USED YOUR COUSIN
AS AN EXAMPLE...

I POSTED FACTS THAT
A RECORD 4 MILLION PPL QUIT IN APRIL
AND 3.9 MILLION IN JUNE.

They will have a rude awakening when they actually lose their safety blanket aka mom and dad.

I think it's totally fine to leave a job that is toxic, but if you are leaving a job because you can't just do whatever you want when on the clock...that is a problem. I hate my Job, but I am very strategic in how I plan to improve my situation, they are just quitting with no plan.

I have a feeling we may not see a whole lot of innovation (which requires a lot of hard work and dedication) from gen z. They might be the new form of hippies.

This 100%.

I respect Gen Z's hustle....but it's a lot easier to do that when you have no kids and parents to support you...pay your bills etc.

The real test comes when you gotta hold your own nuts :dame:.

The ideal approach is to have a good 9 to 5 (with cheap healthcare) and THEN have streams of income on the side. My Millenial and Gen X peoples understand the benefits of doing both.

Gen Z loves the freedom of side hustles but misses out on easy money and healthcare with a 9 to 5.

9 to 5's ain't exactly easy money, unless its WFH, and healthcare packages are cheap in value in many of these white collar jobs.

The heights
Because they had to and would be homeless if they didn't. They didn't have the luxury comfort of chilling at home and playing ps5 in your pj's while looking for jobs sparingly here and there.

They went through that so you don't have to.

The ignorance of todays youth smh

i can understand not working weekends because im the same way but he took a job out of spite that pays less and working weekends yeah he a clown for that :mjlol:i wouldn't hire his azz back

We won't but they do this sort of thing all the time. We probably get 1 or 2 people a week who just stop coming in. A lot of times they are trying to do unemployment fraud. Then maybe once or twice a month we get people who show their ass. These people are perpetual poor, don't have cars and can't keep their phones on.

This culture of quiting and low work ethic is super toxic and destructive.

Employers gotta step up. This is the side of capitalism they won't like. It falls apart without a strong workforce.

It also means many employers will go under. That's another part they won't like. Everything is sweet as long as there is somebody's neck to keep your own foot on.

Work places HAVE to change :umad:

You know shyts fukked up when illegal immigrants are leaving the jobs, and those positions are vacant for months on end.
