No he doesn’t. He has 2 more. Plus way more material in between, and just a far bigger impact.I thought it was bullshyt. Mase has one more album than Big L does lol.

Folks cry about people being “politically correct” and not genuine…. But when folks give an honest take on some real shyt. No disrespect…. It’s still a problem.
They aren’t wrong really.. he’s not overrated skill wise but overrated in the sense that he never dropped a great album.
It’s possible he would have blown up eventually if he stayed alive but who knows.
He was talented and also had charisma so the components were there
On his second album while not perfect he showed growth in terms of being more versatile and most importantly he seemed like he was becoming a better songwriter then he was on his first joint.
But there are plenty of dope MC’s who never blew up nor were able to translate their skills to making a great album
That would depend on numerous things for L like timing, beats he would pick, wheter or not he could make a hit etc
Who knows. It’s a huge what if in hiphop history
lol no that was his 5 but then when they bought up Juelz, Mase got kinda stuck and said Juelz gotta be in his stop 5 somewhere. I see the way I put it is confusing. When did Mike boogie turn into Juelz Santana?
L shyt production wise was dated by the time it came out![]()
Ehh Finesse and L pioneered an entire style of rap, ahead of their time type shyt. Nothing elevated after death about L at all, he deserves those accolades and is indeed a legend.
Didn't watch the clip but please, let's cut it out .
Big L
-------
Cam'ron or
Mase
I take it your from his hood or close …. Did you know his killer gee ?? what was he like n if you did know him … did he express any regrets after the fact or was it a case of it had to be done ?? …. I know the story behind it just seeing from someone around that way point of viewTruth.
What a lot of people didn't know back then or even now, was that most of the album, with the exception of "Put It On" and "Street Struck" was 3-4 years old. He started recording that album years before it came out, but Columbia didn't want to give him more of a budget to freshen up any of the material.
We were playing "No Endz, No Skinz" around the way in '93, that summer. So all of us were shocked to see it on the album two years later. A lot of that sh*t was mad old.
His killer is dead. Big L was nice as fukk, don’t get it twisted, but m don’t see him giving you an Only You Remix or Mo Money Mo Problem, classics that people recite word for word. Mase was nice and Cam too and really put Harlem on the map. I think without the legal issues Max B would be the GOAT Harlem rapper, he is to me, but I can’t deny Mase and Cam’s impact, especially with a major backing like Bad Boy and Roc-A-Fella
I agree. I like Cam, but had to grow to like and appreciate him.
I never took to Made.
I grew up on Krs, Redman, Wu, Onyx.
Big L was a complete stand out. Rugged as hell - but had heart beneath it all.
Study his earlier demos. You can tell he studied the greats. His early work sounds like '88 hip hop. He innovated and grew.
On a side note - I heard great things about Cam and Mase's podcast - also that Can stated he quit rap. But I don't think that's a good look. Mase quit years ago.
Why not stick to the one thing you Excell at for life? Like Jimi Hendrix, Marley, Lennon, Method Man, Krs?
Lux and Mook rap better than all 3,, just facts
