Man im so burnt out on special effects and cgi fest. I started watching older movies just cause they look more natural. Tired of these computer generated worlds.
I miss the old models that they used to make and use They look so much better. The lighting is always off on cgi.

This is why I was low key cheering for Comcast to get Fox, but here we are. One less studio to release content and the franchises that Disney said that they were going to keep running are starting to look.

How many big tier studios are still out there? Disney, Warner Brothers, Universal, Paramount, Sony.......Is United Artists even still around?
MGM and Annapurna resurrected UA but just for James Bond. At least that’s how it seems

Nope. But to Disney’s credit, they’re trying to figure out how to have him walk between worlds. His solo movie will probably be R rated but they’re trying to establish how you put him in the pg13 world the rest of the heroes inhabit without it feeling like tonal whiplash
if Blade comes out before DP3 and is R, and he's in the MCU...hopefully that shows'em how to do it
You got Warner and Universal out here doing horror movies for five bucks and making millions off them, you can't tell me Disney couldn't do the same with FOX properties.

getting into a blockbuster or die mode is playing with fire. They can get away with it for now, but they gotta be careful. Low budget flicks turning huge profits are a lick that Disney needs to start taking advantage of. They have enough IPs to do so as well. Disney Plus is a good start but there's so much more they can do.

Basically, I mean it's weird how this merger is the only one killing the film industry. Didn't Viacom, CBS and Paramount just form a super conglomerate the other day? You don't hear about it on here tho.
This is just how the entertainment industry is changing in these times. Capitalism, technological innovation, society's interests and ability to pay for entertainment is not the same as ten years ago. I liked going to the movies and everything but with the prices and generally weak product I would rather stay home and watch HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu then waste my money.

Surprised that Devon Franklin movie made a huge profit. I didn’t see any promotion at all for it.
It looks like maybe Disney will make Deadpool a show like Daredevil.
