The fanbase turned on him because of things HE did. Before he started remixing the old films and releasing the new films Lucas was a godlike figure among his fans.

disney aint even playin fair at this point, talk about cornering the markert. as far as the news, jedis is cool and all that but i hope a mandalore gets some burn, boba fett my man a 100 grand n shyt, but i wanna see more mandolorians puttin they murder game down other than fett, or maybe fett could take the guise of the new mandalore :ehh:. dont really care 4 the skywalker and solo families either, its the nikkaz they beefin with now that ima go see this movie 4. me personally, i would love 4 disney 2 materialize an imperial agent on 2 the big screen, basically like a star wars version of jason bourne/bond. i just hope they put thrawn in the mix, son was born with a chessboard in his hands.......

Sources: EPISODE VII will continue the story of Luke Skywalker and his Family Saga after the Death of Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) and the fall of the Empire.

They are not going to be able to stop leaks but they are saying Disney and Lucas has been secretly developing the movie for the last year. Which is why they are firm on the 2015 release date.

This movie will break every box office record. This is the most popular movie franchise in US history. They need to get the right director for this.

I'm ok with that. You cant just make an episode 7 and copy and paste the thrawn story into a film. Its gotta be bigger than that.
