i think losing jason kidd and JET was a big deal for him b/c they were two vets who knew his game and how to play that pick and pop game at the top of the key.

that being said, he still makes 21M a yr so he better find that passion somewhere. :stopitslime:

He's gonna be fine. It's not that he stopped caring, he just got the monkey off his back so naturally some of that undying passion has been tamed. He's not in his youth and prime, ready to tackle more titles, like Kobe, Duncan, and LBJ were. In fact, I can't even remember the last "superstar" that won a title JUST at the end of his prime. Usually superstars win in their prime, or they don't win at all.

Dirk is in the unique situation of winning his first title at the age where he just can't go out and drop 25-27 every night like he used to. But it's fine. He's slow this year because of his knee, but since his game doesn't rely on athleticism, I fully expect him to be back to 20 ppg for the next 2-3 years. It really isn't that hard for a guy who still, even without much lift or movement, is unguardable for most teams.

thats my GOAT :to: ... Best PF of all time after Duncan

Yup. Dudes one of the best playoff performers of all time. One of the few guys In history that raises his game in the playoffs(points/rebounds/efficiency) almost every year

Son is unguardable

The only reason Iverson is not in the league and higher on the career scoring list is because he couldn't accept a spot in the league as a role player. Even now im pretty sure he thinks he's a starter. And with guys like Mike James still in the game i know there's a spot for him. He just needs to realize it's 2013 and not 2003 anymore.

Just cause he has a black woman/wife don't mean he's not racist. Even slave owners had black mistresses and bed wenches. Dirk might actually be a good guy but we don't KNOW that so I ain't given this nikka no pats on the back cause his woman is black.

But if Iverson played as much as Dirk, we all know this would not have happened. Iverson is the hall of fame level epitome of wasted talent. The hood influence does nothing but hold brothas back. Damn, I had good times rooting for Iverson and a young Kobe back in them days. :to:

That's my Pf :to:

One of the most humble superstars in the league. You don't hear anything about him in the media (besides that whole girlfriend incident) dude just goes on the court n balls, except this year :smh:

Got a beautiful nubian princess on his arm :obama:
Won a ring with a bunch of role players and no other all star :eat:
Doesn't suck up to anyone in the league. Dude doesn't shake hands after games, he ain't trying to be buddy-buddy with anyone :stopitslime:

I was :salute: at Dirk when Bron and Wade were trying to clown him during the finals and Dirk proceeded to win on their court and not even show them the respect to shake their hand after the game :russ:

The only people I've seen Dirk seek out to shake hands with after the game was Kobe, Duncan, and Nash if you ain't them then :pacspit:
