Team defense wins titles not individual defense. I don't need an all time great defensive player to win a title. I don't even need a truly GREAT defense(sub 101 Drtg). By I do need an all time great offensive player to carry me to a title which dirk is. And why in 99% of the cases ill take the best offensive player
KG scoring and efficiency just aint good enough for a first option unless I got a loaded team like the 08' Celtics with 2 other Hall of famers
nikka has scored 30 9 times in over 100 playoff games. nikka has never scored 40 points in a playoff game. His first years he average 18 points per game. That's not good enough for my best player Plus again his efficiency BLOWS for a big man. Like some years Allen iverson level bad
In 02 against dallas where he dropped 24 a game, that was one series(against dirk who completely outplayed him) where he played 44 mins a game and shot 43 percent from the field, and had an Overall TS was 51%TS. In 03 the only time going over 25 a game(27 PPG) in 44 mins.
For most of KG's playoff career, he's been putting up Pau Gasol like numbers breh. Think about it like that, now that's great for a number 2 option but damn sure not a number one.

for standing up for Dirk dude is underrated for what he has done in this league.
