One of the greatest joys over the past near-decade is witnessing how mad Dray has made this board; proving y'all wrong over and over, and over and over. Watching him grinning on the podium four times over with the Larry O'Brien, all after y'all have wasted energy and time trying to shyt on him, only to have reality slap you upside the head.

Glorious.

:wow:

Warriors don't have a dynasty without Dray.

Why even put a qualifier of Draymond wouldn't be anything on another team like that? He's proven himself. He's had success. He's proven y'all wrong every single step of the way. He made the most out of his situation. Shouldn't he be celebrated and respected rather than hated? What if we went through and dissected every NBA great's career and said they wouldn't be the same player if they didn't get drafted to a certain team and didn't play alongside great players? Would that be hating or just "speaking facts"?

It's funny how y'all like to pick and choose when to be outraged. Let someone disrespect a player from the past and y'all are quick to get y'all heads hot.
I agree Draymond should be celebrated and praised for his IQ and getting the most out of his talent
However, there are multiple NBA players that could do the little things( probably not as well) on golden state that he does and win a title

I see Draymond as Horace Grant on those first 3 peat bulls team, when bulls lost in 95 his absence was notable reason why
Bulls go and get Rodman and the rest is history, Draymond is replaceable in the same way(probably not best example as Rodman was rebound champ, but you get the gist)

Edit: not saying Draymond and Horace are the same players, i think Draymond is better but there influences on those championship teams is comparable...

Defensive Player of the Year, 4x All Star, 2x All-NBA, 7x All-Defensive Team, starter on 4 championship squads.

Basketball Reference has him as a 77% chance to make the Hall of Fame based on stats and accolades alone. That's better odds than Jimmy Butler, Kevin Love, or Klay Thompson.

Nobody cares

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
I don’t know how anyone watches Draymond play and comes away thinking he doesn’t know how to play. He’s fun to watch because of how smart, competitive, and skilled he is. That brother could play anywhere. Y’all need to stop frontin. I would definitely have him on my team. There’s some frustrating things about him that probably has more has to do with referees not doing their job—watch how many times he fouls during screens and pick and rolls.

We would know who he is. But his legacy would surely not be nearly as good.

He would be a great defender that ultimately would bounce around to different because his offensive game is limited. He's become a terrible shooter post 2017, and his passing and playmaking still relies on Curry and Klay being willing to constantly cut and run around.

:yeshrug: How did that serve him the year when Steph and Klay were out for the season? Dude was pure asscheeks. One of the worst players in the league
nikka he's not gonna average 20/12/5. :mjtf:

He is a great defensive anchor. But no one is gonna do well on a team with fringe talent. The only players still in the league on that 2020 warriors team are Draymond, Looney (who barely played that season), Poole (considered one of the worst players in the league at that time), and Alec Burks (who got traded at the deadline). Ur argument is dishonest

:mjlol: You act like there's no in-between from averaging superstar numbers and being a complete scrub/one of the worst players in basketball. No HOFer/star player is turning into a scrub without talent around them. Only role players do that :yeshrug:

You’ll never see Dillion Brooks with a child at a press conference like like 99% of the league :dame:
