I don’t know how anyone watches Draymond play and comes away thinking he doesn’t know how to play. He’s fun to watch because of how smart, competitive, and skilled he is. That brother could play anywhere. Y’all need to stop frontin. I would definitely have him on my team. There’s some frustrating things about him that probably has more has to do with referees not doing their job—watch how many times he fouls during screens and pick and rolls.
A lot of people on this forum—and the internet—ingest sports with their emotions since they don’t know what they are watching. It’s now media covers sports too.

Draymond would be great on The Spurs if he decided to opt out. He could mentor his counterpart, Jeremy Sochan

We would know who he is. But his legacy would surely not be nearly as good.

He would be a great defender that ultimately would bounce around to different because his offensive game is limited. He's become a terrible shooter post 2017, and his passing and playmaking still relies on Curry and Klay being willing to constantly cut and run around.

Bullshyt. I had a thread earlier this year where Kerr said moving Draymond to support the bench lineup has saved their season. Just Draymond + four reserves and they were playing great, when until then the GS bench had been shedding points.

And now Steph and Wiggins both been out 25+ games and GS still has a winning record in those games with Draymond continuing to run the offense.

Hypothetically who would the warriors be able to replace him with?

Someone in this thread said Pat Bev. :laff:

I swear half this forum hates basketball.

Playing well with a bench is different from being on the starting 5 with other stars who he may not gel with. That's what I'm referring to.

He's great but i still think his offensive game just wouldn't scale well to the large majority of teams that have stars. Curry is the best superstar he could play with, and together with Klay, they were able to maximize Dray.

He'd be good on a different team, but then he may eventually get moved if they lose in the playoffs 2 years in a row and defenses sag off on him and he doesn't gel with the main superstar. Do you think he'd fit with Luka, for instance ?
