Not really. Using a glitch to access a buggy version of something doesn't prove much. However, the mode being cancelled, even with all the work that went into it, does lend more credibility to the general understanding that it's not as easy as you think. Besides, not all games are developed in the same way. And with Baldurs Gate 3 being a next-gen only title, I can only assume its rendering workload requires more than a game that had to work on last generation hardware too.
The Series S is a good console for what it is, but it has its drawbacks, and we're seeing one here.
