I didn't think they were good as wrestling matches or even action scenes, but they were entertaining in their own ways. Not necessarily for good reasons, but often terrible entertainment can be better than okay or decent entertainment.

I'm genuinely pretty curious at how they follow up/explain anything about the Funhouse stuff.

The fukkery was strong with both "matches". The cat is out the bag now, so it's time to get sports entertained in 2020. fukk this trying to get killed shyt for a hotdog and a smelly smark. WWE out here showing what needs to be done in the mist of ronamania.

This weekend proves that the “fake fighter badass” era is dead (stone cold, rock, HHH, etc.) there hasn’t been so much as a whisper about edge/Orton trying to “kill” each other for 4 hours beyond the Benoit spot backlash.

It’s to the point where everyone know the jig is up and we just want to be sports entertained. No one is going to be “believable” anymore as a fake fighter like the attitude era. Just give us the stupid male soap opera/Jerry springer type shyt to keep it interesting I guess.

I’m willing to concede that it may have been a different story if it was in front of a live crowd but it just seems like the progression from LU to Broken Matt Hardy to now the two biggest matches coming out of WM being cinematic events could change things a bit. I mean if they can cut live event costs by doing 50% of their stories like this and maintain their billion dollar tv deals I don’t know how Vince sees that as a bad idea.

You can't do these style things all the time or no one will care about them. LU got canceled because it didn't have enough people that cared about it to justify the costs to do this type of stuff & the Broken Matt stuff in TNA did worse everytime after the first one.
