I liked Del Rio, but I can admit that he was lacking something. He was never somebody you felt like you had to hear a promo or watch a match from. He was there, he was good enough. He just wasn't that good.

I think that hurt almost all of his feuds because he was never someone the fans fully invested in. His MITB cash in felt a little dry, his title reigns felt a little dry. His best work was at Payback 2013 when him and Ziggler did the double turn, then the segment he had the night after.

I think Del Rio's blinders for me started to fall when he won that Rumble, but the MitB win was kind of the yeah he's not as good as they are presenting him. Can't really say the balls been dropped by anyone but him. Cause every Company he's been in pushes the hell out of him.
