Ive never understood people complaining about Obito being the reveal? I understand hating his motivation but with the name TOBI, Obito still being mentioned at all past part 1, Kakashi's Kamui just happening to have the same teleportation art design as Tobi's????? Who did yall think Tobi was?

The second 'Tobi' popped up I'm pretty sure almost everyone figured that Obito had something to do it since Kishimoto took the time to make Kakashi Gaiden. I think the main problem was that it being a broken murderous Obito with flimsy reasoning for becoming a villain makes the whole reveal seem sloppy and lazy.

If it was something like Madara controlling the body with Obito being dead/his spirit in limbo it may have been more palatable.

TLDR: the ideas is fine, execution is lacking (like many things in the series)

Around season 2 I just stopped....I was done so many times though.

-Ninjas...really turning out to be samurai's.

-Rock Lee, the baddest muhfukker, goes full blown Akuma, and it never happens again nor do they even give him any spotlight.

-Naruto suffered from the protagonist curse in all of anime....except that, he's a living god....quite literally.

-Killed of Jiraiya, probably the move that had me drop the manga for a while.....they tried the same with Kakashi, but the fans weren't having it.

-Infantile writing. To me, this is the biggest problems with manga/anime. A lot of these guys didn't take one class of writing. Not that you should, but you can tell these guys are too self indulged on thinking about whats "cool" and less about what makes sense. Toriyama was victim of this very thing...except he basically just made it fight fluff anime. The Sasuke arc was probably the worst writing in anime history. All that Naruto went through, Orichimaru living on through Sasuke, and eventually it all culminating to them being friends, was probably the biggest fail ever. So Naruto doesn't get with Sakura, even though that was bae for two seasons, and she then proceeds to marry and has the baby of the dude who was going to kill her and the entire village....
The shyt right there, is just too dumb.

-Killing off Neji - So basically, anyone who deemed cool by the fans, died. From Jiraiya, to Asuma. I get that this is basically the imaginings of a guy who never took a writing class, but his beta is showing.

So many more, but this is the crux of it. Bad writing + Sasuke being the Mary Sue/Big Bad/redeemed tortured soul.

This right here. That still the most dumbest writing I ever seen and it sends a bad message.

Kishimoto is basically a nerd who hates anything martial arts, but is forced to incorporate it due to head writers and producers. Dude killed off/crippled every major martial artist on the shown...

I ain’t gon lie I didn’t like the Kaguya shyt, I was perfectly fine wit Madara being the whole evil mastermind

But besides that I loved Naruto

the kaguya shyt woulda been fine if it wasnt a double cross angle with the zetsu. if madaras plan was to ressurrect kaguya it would have been better the way it happened seemed cheap

I wouldn't say that it fell off in the sense that it became wack status or anything, but the quality did go down a little after the Pain arc. It had everything ranging from the ongoing mystery of Pain, the horrific death of an important character in Jiraiya, Naruto discovering his origins, and some pretty cool character moments. This is arguably where Naruto's story comes to an "end" as he ultimately accomplished the things he thought would be granted to him as Hokage at the start of the series: admiration and respect. He had become a hero.

Pain was also a nice addition as he bested Naruto in a way that most villains don't: Knowledge. He countered every claim Naruto threw at him with a response that made the entire show feel more grounded in reality. You understood that Konoha were not "white knights in shining armor", but an actual flawed government with individuals that sometimes did crooked things to solidify their place in the ninja world. Pain himself wasn't your cookie-cutter villain, but actually a misguided extremist that was set in completing his mission for the sake of his perceived view of justice & peace. Obito, while not horrible, felt like a re-hash after his un-masking. He was considerably better as the masked puppeteer that simply wanted to see the world burn.

So maybe the emphasis on Uchihas even though I didn't particularly mind them like that. I particularly like the Hashirama/Madara dynamic more than Naruto/Sasuke, Itachi's story was incredibly complex and realistic, Sasuke's revolutionary talk had shyt lit, and like I said with Obito... he was better as a villain.

The didn't let the demon Madara go crazy enough, fukk Kaguya Madara was the villain the whole time.

Abandoned plotlines and no side character development. The whole akatsuki should have been used to develop the Konoha 11 besides Team 7 and Team Asuma.

Sasuke as much as I hate him was shown to easily suppress the nine tails chakra in Naruto rendering him ineffective. They should have let that play out more.

Orochimaru is walking free?! How in the fukk is this guy allowed to breathe he should have been sealed away or at the very least permanently killed.

There was a thread on the coli saying boruto was restoring the feeling. One episode in particular was hyped on the coli. The posts were on some did you watch the last boruto episode?

I had to watch it myself to see what the hype was about..the episode was just a rehash of the final fight from the boruto movie

As for Bleach, that needs a thread of its own because that final arc was trash. It should have ended when Aizen was defeated. Don't get me started on how kubo did Genryusai

They should have ended Madara being a final villain cause they built up the story about him since in the beginning of Naruto. Not Kaguya sht in this series but I would have no problem if they added Kaguya story in a movie, that would make sense.
