This shyt still dope. Now I will acknowledge that the fillers to die dilute it. I remember watching all the fillers early on from day one back to OG Naruto.

But if you watch it without the fillers (like I’m binging it now and found some sites that tell me which are fillers and which aren’t) this shyt is still GREAT like the story is strong as fukk..... arguably out of a lot if not every other anime.... DBZ included.

The storyline of Naruto has always been its strength and when it’s focused, it’s top notch and doesn’t fall off

Wrong that would be one piece. Naruto fell off after the save garaa arc which should of ended with garaa’s death and set the tone of how dangerous the Atsuki were going to be because they become pushovers in the second half after the time skip besides obito but the pein arc was where I really was like fukk this when everybody was brought back to life

Nope...... watching it now..... Shippuden is better than way better than the OG Naruto.

The Chunnin exam is dope but I arcs with Pain were better to me. The stakes started get higher and more people started to die or experience major losses.

The war is so far dope to me and the story is just better.

Now I get how the fillers did take away from it a bit but I’m now watching and skipping the spoilers and the story stays tight, focused, and well executed.

I disagree the Atsuki become pushovers.... But I don’t think they needed to be anymore necessary for the story than what they were

There was a thread on the coli saying boruto was restoring the feeling. One episode in particular was hyped on the coli. The posts were on some did you watch the last boruto episode?
That plot development and those animations are restoring the feeling
Boruto is growing right before our eyes

I had to watch it myself to see what the hype was about..the episode was just a rehash of the final fight from the boruto movie

I made that thread. I personally bushed the anime but the bortuo manga is better than the naruto manga so far. It has a way more interesting set up and the monthly basis seems to lend itself to better writing

Damn near 90% of the boruto anime at this point is filler. There's more filler in boruto than naruto and naruto has so much filler i bushed it for the manga too

The first ninja mission and kakashi segments in the anime were hype though

That’s the main reason why I’m trynna get through Shippuden too. To peep Boruto cuz I been hearing good things about it.

In its prime I was watching Shippeden but after the Pain fight... it went to them fillers and then I started to read the manga and stopped watching the anime, reading the manga all the way to the end.

I know how it ended on paper but I finally wanna see it animated.

It's crazy that One Piece never really caught in the U.S. even though it's the most "Dragon Ball" like shonen series. Bleach and Fairy Tail were more popular out here than One Piece.

One Piece was set up to fail in the US thanks to 4kids and their terrible dub.
I was legit offended the first time someone told me One Piece was better than Naruto and Bleach. After they explained the dub was terrible I decided to try the sub One Piece for myself and that shyt was legit

The peak of Naruto (chunin exams & rescue Sasuke arc) was better than the peak of One Piece (water 7/enies lobby) but One Piece has stayed at a high level throughout it's run while Naruto crashed and turned into shyt. So overall One Piece is better than Naruto.

As a person who watched naruto and is now watching one piece all the way through (4kids made me stop years ago ) meh water 7/enies lobby >> than they arcs you mentioned in naruto . I’m really impressed at how intricate Odas storytelling is

Madara should have been the final boss, no Kaguya. That bytch was a complete waste in order to push out Boruto

The only thing that I liked about the Kaguya story was the backstory of Hagoromo and his sons Indra and Asura. The reincarnation thing was cool but Kaguya herself was trash. I hate they built up Madara and spent years on his character only to be played as a pawn by Zetsu.

I've tried numerous times but I can't get into OP. The art style turns me off. I don't think it ever really took off in US like DBZ and Naruto.

Fox 4Kids censorship killed One Piece out the gate in the US. It never really had a fair shake, meanwhile Naruto was on Cartoon Network and Disney XD bought up the rights to Shipuuden. If One Piece had been on Toonami or regular Cartoon Network it could have been another big hit

Yeah it seems that the more powerful Madara became the more p*ssy he got . Regular Madara was 1000% gutter and always with the shyts about embarrasing/beating his opponents . He should have flipped it on Zetsu like "Oh you thought you were playing me? I made this whole storyline happen bytch "

It's mad boring. There are points in the anime where it's as good as Shippuden, but those are few and far between. It's also literally 90% filler which also sucks ass. They toned down the violence a tad bit too much in order to draw in a younger audience imo. My Hero Academia blows it out of the water in everything. The one thing that Boruto is doing well is character development, but the characters are boring outside of Mitsuki, Boruto, Sarada and Shikadai.

Sasuke as much as I hate him was shown to easily suppress the nine tails chakra in Naruto rendering him ineffective. They should have let that play out more.

Sasuke got nerfed once he got his Mangekyo Sharingan imo. You can't convince me that he wouldn't have stomped Naruto with his pre-MS analytical mind and overpowered techniques.

Killer B gave that boy the beats . After that ass whipping he couldn't think straight at all so he went on an attempted killing spree . That boy is so trash he never won a single fight in the series


They should have had a lil scrap where he washed Naruto early on in Shipuuden, but it's whatever. I still go back and watch some of the fights, and enjoyed the series overall. The leaf should have taken more losses imo, it was annoying to see how many GOAT candidates that came from the village when there were so many badass ninjas elsewhere
