Describe the Smartest People You Know That are Failing at Life

Im gonna nominate myself... I had a few chances though and I also had a few good runs and made more money than most of the people I know (was set to make 440k/year before taxes)combined for my age... but the last 3 years have been tough it's a long story.. but I'm glad it's happened to me I learned a lot and won't be in this category anymore soon.

the problem that I go thru is I forget logic really cant apply to human interactions...

It can only apply to situations after human interactions are initiated...

Im just lazy and unenergetic when it comes to that type of stuff..

In saying that,I dont think im failing,I think I just dont live life enough..

But thats for a combination of reasons..

And people prolly feel like this as well

If you're truly smart, you don't need much human interaction to be successful. The problem is that some people are lazy, whether intelligent or not.

apparently to be a producer you gotta be on social media an shyt, i never touched that stuff an i dont plan to. I thought i could just find some dudes to listen to my stuff, an it would percolate up or whatever, but bein a producer is just like bein a rapper gotta network an stuff

i just wanna make music, im not a good networker an in this world u gotta be to survive, pretty depressing tbh. I dont wanna b famous or rich or shyt all these producers only out for money are clogging the industry with mediocrity

probably not the smartest but this dude I knew was very smart, top set of maths, good at sports, high grades all round.

Long story short he was a good guy but wanted to be down very bad, dude started gambling at ealry ages like 16 then by 20 he had a clear gambling addicition like one day he'd be caked up and the next day he's begging anyone for a couple dollars.

Quite sad really, he's still not 30 yet (must be 28 by now) still has time but its running out

yea im learning this, my brother is a rapper an hes makin a album with my beats. He knows people so mayb that will do it. I know the industry is full of snakes an i believe the higher up you are in the hierarchy the more evil you encounter, so from the getgo i didnt want to do that. Problem is i have some beats that id need some experienced rappers to hop on, like theyre too much for beginners with low recording quality to handle, on some 2 chainz shyt. I rly do need to network more you gotta do that to survive no matter what.

all the washed up 30+ year-old hipster phd students, the majority of which will not get a faculty position... and will most likely end up working minimum wage to pay off their 100k+ student loans (interest rates quite a bit higher than prime). should have just learned a trade and called it a day, smh.

My good friend has been in some legal trouble for the last year. Was on an ankle bracelet and beat some felonies Dude is brilliant, charismatic, handsome and genuinely cares about people. He's off the bracelet but can't get his shyt together. He use to be balling out of control and created several successful business.

He has at least $100,000 in custom jewelry, several vehicles and every piece a clothing he has is designer. He has at least $10,000 in jeans that he never wears and yet can't pay his bills. It's like once he caught the charges all the fight went out of him. I hope he gets his shyt together.

Look here....At the end of the day, people are hopelessly average....You may be above average in intelligence, but below average in emotional IQ....Your work ethic may be epic, but your social skills are weak.... You may be able to put a plan together, but your closing skills leaves a lot to be desired....At the end of the day, there is only a small minority in America that can become successful from nothing, and it takes a whole lot more than being "just" smart....

Right, but like you said, there are ways to overcome any one's particular state of being. An average person who works hard can achieve more than a smart person who doesn't work or who doesn't work hard enough. The former is actually more common than you think and the latter is also more common than you think. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. A great man once found that the harder he worked the more luck he had.

I dont know about the smart thing, I guess that would depend on who you would ask. Gonna nominate myself but not because i'm a failure at life or anything. I'm actually doing fairly well given my age.

I say that because over the course of my life i've become good at things but never great at anything. I push myself just enough to feel that I am better than the average person and then I lose interest. Sometimes I see other people successful at activities and skills that I used to be really excited about and I can't help but think " I wonder if I would have kept up with that". It feels like a form of failure because I never took that mental leap and told myself that I would strive for greatness, I always settled for "above average" Maybe i'm worried i'll hit a glass ceiling and have to come to terms with my limited potential?
