Yeah, but Omar wasn't a saint and depending on who you liked on a the show, he may have been somewhat of a villain in your eyes. Regardless of that though, most of the guys I'm referring to or guys that I know I wanted to see get away, just as a fukk you to everyone. I'm well aware that they shouldn't have skated, but that doesn't stop me from wishing it was that way.

:comeon: Who the hell asked you? I can feel how I wanna feel about it. Me personally I wanted to see the bad guy stuntin on everybody. Why? Because it's a damn tv show and I'd have liked to see it. And lastly, I'm not white so go jump off a cliff.

I don't think anyone ever confused Omar as a saint, but not really anyone figured him to be the villain either. The whole point and appeal about the wire was that almost none of the characters were pure good or outright evil, so there weren't really bad guys or good guys, much as everyone hovered in that morally grey area. Even the cops that you initially may have thought were "good" had dynamics about them to show that they weren't quite good or weren't always good if they seemed to have been presently so. Same with the bad guys. Thing is though, of all the characters that was pretty much more strictly one way or the other way, was Marlo. Even then, he wasn't outright "evil", but he certainly appeared to be comparatively. Him and Stringer where probably the only two that they showed have very little, if any redeeming qualities. Stringer was outright conniving scum at the end of things and Marlo was a full scale utilitarian, to which he would do whatever to show he had power, killing, crossing whomever to get more of it, retain it or even just for the reputation of having it. Him and Stringer where alike in that regards, but Marlo was a lot more menacing about his with it, whereas Stringer was more business-like with it.

Alonzo being murdered was kinda forced though. The way the Russians easily found him while driving in the street is hard to do in LA. Vince Vaughn in True Detective got found the same way. I'm like:mindblown: I could see him getting merked right there in the Jungles right after he did the "I'm King Kong" speech though.
They could've been tailing him or the Wise Men had connections with the Russians. There's a deleted scene where the Wise Men go to Jakes' house asking for the money.

Training day ending was corny. "we got your back homie" :rudy: :comeon:

blacks turn on their own for whitey everyday though
I guess y'all missed Bones' reaction when Alonzo first took Jake to the projects. Those people were tired of being under Alonzos' thumb as he was just as corrupt as the white cops they had to deal with.

It's bad enough to be fukked with by white cops but getting done dirty by a cop who looks like you is worse.

Alonzo Harris got away with a lot. Even in real life he would get clapped. There is only so much evil and risk you can take before the consequence catch up to you. Harris did too many dirty thing and screwed too many people. He was playing Russian roulette with his life.

Yes, but there was no question that Omar was a bad guy, despite the fact that he was beloved. He did terrible things and that's not even up for debate. And in that context, I could see how someone would consider him a villain in respects to the overall state of the city. There are a lot of black men in jail and you can look at them and say they probably shouldn't be there. Omar wasn't one of them.

And you're either a dumbass or an idiot. I don't see how it could be any other way. :dame:
