A lot of c00ns/ignorance is being disguised as pro black in here

It’s obvious that Denzel and the people agreeing with him don’t understand what the drivers of crime are

But how do we combat this system that drives these individuals into a life of crime?

Now keep in mind that whatever your answer to this question is will fall under "respectability politics" since your placing the onus on US to make moves to combat this system

UNLESS

your answer is gonna be something along the lines of "its white folk responsibility to take their foot off of our necks. We're at the mercy of white people until they have a change of heart".

No lies told. The black community don't like the truth

Fixed

The Black Community used to be respectable. Had family values. Strong community. Even if we were broke, we raised our kids to be smart respectable young men. How did shyt go so far left from the 40s/50s to now? Even if you wanna blame white supremacy, drugs, police brutality and everything else, at some point you gotta ask why these nikkas aren’t at least raising their kids right.

So, do we just stop having children?

:lupe:

No, absolutely not. However we need to be realistic about a child's future in consideration of the circumstances with his upbringing. Folks love all those feel good stories about how this Black youth, or that Black youth came from less than ideal circumstances and "made it." Folks love those movies and I get it. The flipside to that coin though is the youth that don't "make it." We see them on the news. And there's far more local news stories featuring them than there is inspirational movies.

Or when we run into someone we're related to or know and ask how their nephew or son is doing they reply, "oh he's around." Translation he's not dead and probably just got out of jail. Too many of these kids are destined to fail and when you think about it, how selfish and ignorant is it to continue perpetuating this cycle by continuing to make babies despite being immature or lacking the means to provide a stable background?

Of course it has SOME effect

But Not the SINGLE MOTHERS I've dated

:manny:

They CHOSE these dudes ..

Look at Casonova Babymama....

She knew he was a robbing azz mofo ..she even went on heists with him on some Bonnie n Clyde shyt

Then when he gets his azz locked up ..

She starts :to: crying cause he wasn't there for the baby shower and she fears raising her child alone

Most of these dudes had children from previous relationships that they were not taking care of....

Stop making excuses and start making changes...

U cant defend all these Ig thots and club Byatches seeking guys who don't have father figure characteristics....

Most of these hoes ain't seeking a daddy...

The Government got they back....

They just wanted to have FUN with no ACCOUNTIBILITY..and now the children have to suffer...

Cause mama wanted a HOT BOY
Youre the one making excuses though. You're making excuses for the system and you're contradicting yourself. If you think that the system plays a role in the cycle of dysfunction then why cosign Denzel saying don't blame the system? That's a contradiction.

People have got to get smarter and stop being so simple. You can call out the systematic racism against blacks and preach personal accountability at the same time. You don't have to downplay or deny systematic racism to urge blacks to do better.

You're going on and on about black women need to do better and I agree with your criticisms, but you can't use those valid criticisms to deflect from, dismiss, or deny systematic racism. The black women that you're describing are victims of the system too. You think that black women are born trifling? No, they're being raised fukked up too. Again, this cycle of dysfunction that we're in was deliberately established for us.

Above the fray.
Africans are welcoming Chinese and American investors into Africa with open arms, allowing the return of colonial rule and the exploitation of that continent's greatest resources, natural and human. So, is that how you control resources? :francis:

What does THAT have to do with YOU "and "how move forward in a white supremacist system" as you phrased the question?

Do you view yourself as a loser? I ask because you're finding excuse after excuse after deflection in this discussion, much like what losers would do to justify losing.

On top of that, the system did (and has done) everything it could to break down black families for centuries so don't be all Pontius Pilate and say some stupid shyt like "Don't blame the system, it starts in the home" :pacspit:

White people were RACIST AS fukk in the 1930s and 1940s yet black people somehow still raised their kids with some sense and respect :mjlol: Have no accountability for anything brehs. Then wonder why you end up in jail brehs. It’s everybody else’s fault, never yours brehs.

The 215
There are hundreds of Black men in your city, thousands in your state, and millions across the country who are leading NORMAL lives. Keep making excuses though.
shyt tbh the nikka you quoted living a normal life. Dude posting on here from home or a phone, probably works a regular job, lives a regular life with no trouble for the most part and talking about he don't live a normal life. Smfh some cats really want to be victims and when they have kids just keep that victim cycle shyt pushing forward.
