Wait, was reading a topic on this game on ERA and it seems your supposed to save the souls from the bosses you fight?

WTF. I already crushed the soul from the Phalanx and traded it in :sadcam:

only if u want the weapon or magic the souls give otherwise it doesn’t matter

the phalanx weapon sux

Dont listen to this man, the scraping spear is one of the best spears in the game against invaders because it damages all their equipment. You can literally break people's equipment buy poking at them a few times with it.

You fukked up breh.

There's no reason to consume boss souls. You will level fine without them and you will alway have the option for spells weapons or miracles should it come up for your build if you hold on to them. If you want plat you will need more than one of some of the boss souls even.

Read the descriptions of items, the game tells you that boss souls can be traded for weapons.

The only boss souls that cant be traded for anything useful are the red and blue dragon souls.

He the said priest class.
Royalty is prolly the most OP starting class.

Faith can be fine you will just need to upgrade weapons to blessed or find a good faith weapon.

Priest has good vit strength endurance you'll be fine. Just pick a direction on leveling and stick to it.

If you want to run through world 5 early there's two good faith weapons in there.

Just started. But after playing ghost of tsushima and it's perfect combat system the controls in this game are feeling mad clunky right now:francis:.....everything just feels so unresponsive. But I loved bloodborne so I'm gonna keep at it. Think GOT just spoiled the fukk outta me.

the last two games I’ve played at length were GOT and Miles. This is a major step down in controls even though the game looks amazing. I’m going to suffer through it until I get used to it since I spent $70 on it but it’s frustrating to play so far (and not because of the difficulty of the game).

Yea you would think they would have tightened up the controls for a remake. This shyt feels ancient. Just the little things. Gotta press X 3 times just for it to respond. You gotta be dead center on an item to pick it up. I get that it's an old game but if you're gonna come with a new age remake you should make it feel like a new age game.

But I'm gonna stick it out and see if it grows on me.

Is there something that tells you what strength you need to wield a certain weapon?

Yeah, the weapon itself. Press square in your inventory menu on whatever weapon you want to know more about and it'll show you the stats at the bottom. Should be a row with a few different icons. The one with the Hand or Arm (I can't remember off top) with the number next to it is the one needed for strength. I think it's an arm actually, like a bicep curling. I think the Hand is Dexterity. Each one of those numerical stats are needed to use whatever weapon it is effeciently.
