Soo question, i went and tried the tower knight and was only doing about 20 damage when attacking his back heel.

Is that too weak? seems like it but i dunno. Im level 17 i think.

Trying to see should i just farm some souls and try to work on my strength or is that par for the course at this point in the game.

No thats fine, the trick is that you work on his ankles and hell fall over and you can hit him in the head for big damage

Just started. But after playing ghost of tsushima and it's perfect combat system the controls in this game are feeling mad clunky right now:francis:.....everything just feels so unresponsive. But I loved bloodborne so I'm gonna keep at it. Think GOT just spoiled the fukk outta me.

They not really the same type of games and are going for different things with the combat, so I don't see why ya'll keep bringing up the comparison. One's a closed world, action RPG and the other an open-world, action adventure game. Souls games combat is intentionally weighty, so it's slower and more methodical and deliberate by design. Not really anything wrong with it on that standpoint. Ghosts is meant to be snappy and quick. They both have a bit of grounded style of gameplay, but that's about as far as their similarities go.

I wasn't comparing them. Just mentioning how basic and clunky the controls feel coming from GOT. Them being two completely different extremes was exactly my point. It just felt jarring at first.

But also just to keep it real. The controls on DS definitely feel outdated as hell. Yea maybe they're meant to be heavier but it still feels like an old game. Even the animations are pretty weak. Floating characters....disappearing through walls....unrealistic movements. The graphics are great, but this doesn't feel like it was rebuilt from scratch like they're claiming. I was expecting a legit next gen experience. But after playing it for a few hours I'm still having a lot of fun with it. I'll drop a final review when I'm done.

They actually improved the combat animations and they look much better for it. Other physics based parts of the animation is just to keep in line with everything having the exact same frame data as the original, as to not tick off the purists.:manny:

My stats are Magic 50, Intelligence 40, Vitality 30, Strength 30, and Endurance 16. I found easy mode:ahh:

Ring of Strength+ Ring of Regeneration+ Full Armor + Warding Spell is a cheat code. The guys are barely even giving me any damage and I'm one shotting them. :lolbron:

I was listening to a bunch of podcasts and youtube vids while farming. Shyt would've been impossible if I hadn't done that.
Listening to Skip trying to defend Tom Brady and Shannon shytting on him while farming :dead:

I was gonna say there's no way, but honestly, if i had kept all those souls i lost every time i died for the 11 hours i played, i'd probably be alot higher RN as well.
