Agreed, it has the best interlocking design and shortcuts.
I am loving this remake though. This game is very light on the shortcuts actually. Later games have way shorter boss runs cause of the shortcut design.

I understand why some people say they’re tired of dark souls series by the time 3 came. I didn’t know a lot of these bosses and levels were essentially upgraded versions of demon’s souls bosses every game lol
In the end is still prefer the role playing elements and setting of dark/demon souls over sekiro and bloodborne. BB was too dark while i get why people love the lovecraftian-gothic horror vibes its kind of depressing. Sekiro is kind of basic feudal japan with demons, played the setting in nioh and onimusha.
They could release a dark souls game every other year and I’d buy it just like people who love assassins creed. I can’t wait for Elden Ring and I’m happy it’s going back to being an rpg game.

I was really feeling myself. Got to the tower knight without dying once. Promptly got washed by him.
Make sure you run up and take out the archers first, then just stay behind his feet and slash a few times and roll away til he falls, then beat his head in a bit. Rinse, repeat
I just started playing this tonight. Pretty chill time so far but shyt has just gotten real. These dragons got me shook

Took a 2 day break and immediately beat King Allant first try. I can rest easy knowing I finally beat all the souls games and bloodborne. Gotta try and pick back up Sekiro now

I still never beat sekiro (gave up on the last boss, too long) and dark souls 2. I just hate the feel of dark souls 2. Feels janky af
