I can sort of see why they had Supes win again. It's basically because comic book writers are inconsistent and don't put any sort of cap on his powers, so you have comics with him doing shyt that shouldn't even be physically possible, like holding a black hole or lifting something infinitely heavy. Goku just can't compete with that.
Animated Superman is neither here nor there, pretty much any animated version of Superman (especially the DCAU one) is toned way down from the comics, so him being beaten by someone doesn't really prove anything.

I remember watching that darkseid fight on tv as a kid with theface.
His fights are terribly written, according to all his source material he literally just needlessly drags out every fight when he should be knocking people out in one punch. Batman bs superman shouldn't even be a possible thought with all of this info. How can a normal man fight someone moving the speed of light?
I agree with you. He's a boyscout, as he even has compassion for his enemies. It took everything from Darksied just to get a taste of Superman's true power.
MM is powerful, but he's a vulcan at heart. Logical and diplomatic to a fault. Like Superman, he doesn't have it to use his full strength. More than anything, he wants to be accepted and live as a normal person, which is why Batman was able to easily outsmart him and have him cooked in Doomsday.
Goku's combat speed is massively faster than superman's.
Superman's flying speed is massively faster than goku's.
There's a difference.

Again, Wonder Woman is a warrior god. She's one of the few who can challenge Superman anyway. This doesn't mean Goku is faster than Superman or that Goku's fighting speed advantage (if any) would mean anything at the end of the day.

Superman fans point to these "feats" of thats why he wins, but his feats have to do with throwing a punch or blocking one.

Wonderwoman isn't a god, and she isn't depicted as having FTL combat speeds, she's been tagged by the likes of solomon grundy, batman, and other non superhuman type people in DC.
And people are still neglecting that Superman one shotted WW when they fought during the Max Lord battle

Of course it does. It proves how powerful and strong he is. Meaning he can't be messed with by these weak sauces.
His examples is New 52 cannon lore. In that lore Wonderwoman is a warrior god who could challenge Superman straight up, especially given the limitations that Superman places on himself to keep him in check.
