the sad thing is because two writers wrote versions where superman was invincible, now thats the definitive superman. In spite of the others like when he got whupped by ali.nikka can't even beat batman but yall swear he fukkin with goku. yea ok

lol I swear it must be 15+ years since i read that Wizard comic fight.. but iirc the underlying logic they had wasn't that Superman lost b/c he fell a far distance. It was that Goku's base form was more or less = to Superman, and so his SS form would then trump Superman.
That's why i never got into the debates b/c it was obvious where the road block was: what form is Superman = to... and that's just not something you can get both sides to agree on... b/c equating Superman to a form less than SS4 would basically be admitting Goku wins. And there's too much inconsistency in power levels and senseless feats by shytty comic writers over 75 years to measure properly, i.e. current version of Superman, rebooted in 2009, doesn't have any of the crazy feats and would get worked by Darkseid, & Wonder Woman would likely give him a tough time too b/c she's more skilled (he doesn't know that krypto kung fu stuff). And this is current Superman, not composite.
With that said, you can't have Supes be punched out to near depletion to where he needed the Sun to power back up (i.e. reached his limit) in the 1st fight vs a SS3/SS4 Goku (or whatever it was)... but then have him completely squash a SSGod Goku and say he's limitless.
You guys don't get it. You keep underestimating Superman and overestimating everyone else. Superman NEVER fights anyone at full strength. The only exception to this rule is Doomsday, which ended in a tie (and Doomsday has kryptonion DNA). In the New 52 Superman placed limits on himself. Think about that for a second. That means Superman is as strong as he wants to be.
In the clip Superman gives Darkseid (one of his greatest nemesis and one of the strongest villains in DCU) a SAMPLE of his true power, and Darksied is flying across the city with ease.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: No one can see Superman head up. Without kryptonite and without magic, you will not win. Period.

That's what I've been saying.
That's non-canon, meaning it never actually happened in official DCU lore. In the official lore, Batman has never beaten Superman and Batman even said that Superman could beat Batman with ease.
Superman has beaten Batman 7 times so far.
Why do people keep bringing up speed. Goku is not faster than Superman, were you paying attention to the video? Superman is impossibly fast, he went across galaxies in a couple minutes to help Jimmy.

and it still doesn't detract from my point of them doing Goku no service, considering his recent developments (and old for that matter).
-Superman flew through the galaxies in .5 seconds (or whatever), after hearing the noise from a watch (in outer space
). Let's overlook Beerus traveling from whichever universe/solar system (and reality) with Whiz for an Ihop Stack and Chipotle burrito, in the blink of an eye. 
It's one of the many reasons why this second fight was half-assed (and not as entertaining as the first), even if Superman would win. They should have just told people to hold the L.

Wonder Woman is a warrior god. She's extremely underrated herself. Batman's plan for beating her in Tower Of Babel/JL: Doomsday was for her to simply fight herself to death.

I remember watching that darkseid fight on tv as a kid with the
face.His fights are terribly written, according to all his source material he literally just needlessly drags out every fight when he should be knocking people out in one punch. Batman bs superman shouldn't even be a possible thought with all of this info. How can a normal man fight someone moving the speed of light?
