100ms to R.J Barrett. Man. I get thats the going rate but holy shyt.
If we're talking about actual value I'd give him less; he's still too inefficient of a scorer. The two way, shot creating wing is a rare prototype in the league though so you're paying for potential too. Barrett's worth more like 20 mil a year realistically speaking. The contract the Knicks gave him is a good hedge; it's incentive laden and Barrett would've commanded way more next season even with marginal improvement imo, so it's better to slightly overpay him now.

I’m still actually shocked the organization was willing to trade Barrett in the first place. Barrett definitely about his money but you can tell he holds grudges.

My wishful thinking is that Leon Rose decided to call Ainge's bluff by offering RJ with a deadline. It also might have low key helped negotiate the terms of the extension...if RJ's agent played hard ball for more cash, a potential trade to Utah might have been enough to get them to settle for some incentives instead of guaranteed cash. But that's a massive reach on my part to assume.

I think some of those draft picks are gonna be used to ship Randle to a team of his choice. Probably back to LA since they need picks.
Lakers are not taking back Randle no chance in hell :mjlol:

There’s no fit for him there and the Lakers don’t want his contract with 4 years left on it

Knicks are stuck with Randle most likely unless they're willing to take a shytty contract to come off of that which kind of defeats the purpose
People wanna hype up the front office when they made so many bad moves just last year :dead:
Kemba, Noel, Burks, Fournier, and Randle
5 bad signings in a single offseason
They had to give up assets to get off the first 3 and will have to give up assets to get off the last 2 as well.
