Who? Russ or Randle? Russ has what, 1, 2 years on his contract left. I guess no team would want that. If.....they clear up space somehow, lakers only have 2 picks, 27, 29. They could easily absorb Randle for the backcourt with 23, 24 or 26 picks and pick up another pg for low.

His contract expires after this season. He'll most likely get dealt by the trade deadline this season, if he gets traded at all. That's a lot of cap space that any team, including the Lakers, can use to improve their team.

While it seems weird that Randle wouldn’t want the chance to play with one of the greatest basketball players of all-time, it makes a little sense. Once LeBron came to Los Angeles, many started speculating which superstar would join him. No matter who they traded for, the Lakers’ young players would probably get shipped out. Randle likely saw the writing on the walls and moved on.

That is exactly what happened. Lakers had Randle, Lonzo ball, Jordan Clarkson, and Brandon Ingram. Then they traded Kuzma in the Westbrook package. They got their Championship and now are mad they got to pay for it.
