If Zach becomes available in a sign and trade, would the Bulls do Randle and Derrick for Zach? Maybe throw in the Mavs pick to sweeten the deal? Do we even have to do that? Do we want Zach?

I once typed into a chat "I'd trade both Mavs' picks if we could dump Randle off for LaVine." The dude IhateShaun saw that and was like "chill...maybe one though"
. This was before the all-nba season or extension btw.If I could get Zach for Randle, Rose, and a pick then I'd do that in a heartbeat. I really like his game. I don't like that deal from the Bulls point of view though...Derozan and Randle seems like a bad fit.

Lol. Bulls biggest issue was size this season. They got abused by 4s. Vuc, Lonzo and Caruso should still be enough spacing for Randle and Derozan to play off each other in a perfect world. Who else would we be in competition with? Would Lavine want to go to SA? Miami is a destination I’m sure Lavine would consider but would the bulls want Butler and Duncan Robinson instead?
You like Lavine enough to give him $200 million?

I'd pay him that. I think mammoth contracts won't look so bad two seasons from now. The new tv deal is expected to be a big increase. A shrewd gm might look to spend now with hopes that these contracts overlap with a salary cap increase that opens up space for a big addition.
We always think certain people don’t fit here. We could’ve had derozan and all I heard in the off season is knicks fans not wanting him. He had an mvp caliber season!Remember when y’all thought trading for CJ would have been a terrible idea? This yall fault we didn’t get him.

Randle and Thibs going nowhere. Team is done. He'll be playing 35-40 min again.
Eh, that’s different. He would have made us better no doubt but he wouldn’t have had the season he had in NY that he had in Chicago where he was surrounded by 4 shooters.

Yeah, he played power forward where even his center could shoot. Put him between rj, Randle, and Mitch then you’ve got no spacing to work with. He’d still be good but he wouldn’t make the leap we saw in Chi.
