Look, I actually like Goku MUCH more than Superman and was even rooting for him to win this fight, but given my knowledge of both characters I KNEW that he'd be fighting an uphill battle here because Superman is just too strong of a hero. Point blank.

really. Unless a character suprises supes and starts out at ssj3 and knocks him out real fast...

1. Darkseid did that. Usually when a character wins against Supes, it's this reason.

2. Character has kryptonite or a "I can kill supes because my power.... is to kill superman" powerset like Doomsday (sort of)

3. Heavy magic (Wonder Woman and Shazam/Captain Marvel have flat out victories over Supes due to magic)

4. Supes has been drained or is being drained (I wonder how Supes vs Absorbing Man would work)

5. Is Wolverine (dont even ask me how)


if you dont fit into any of the above 5 categories, then you lose against Supes.

Two usually involves the character just being flat out more physically powerful than Supes. The issue there is that said character will have to eventually lay down which eventually causes them to lose their mystique and requires a replacement to be introduced who will inevitably suffer the same fate as their predecessor.

Regarding number four, see Superman vs. Parasite. Though I could see Absorbing Man giving Supes a bit more trouble due to the magical nature of his powers.

No, look at it this way. They had to use a non canon version (SS4 Goku) for this to even be close to a contest. SS4 Goku would stomp Buu's face in.

Then Buu turned him into food and ate him, and absorbed all his powers, now imagine if Buu did that shyt to Superman,

Yeah, he gave base Super Buu that work before being dominated by Super Buu after absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo.

I Imagine Buu would be more of a challenge due to the magical nature of his abilities.

Frankly, the video is good, but doesn't make sense considering the numbers they came up with at the end. Hell, Goku shouldn't have even been able to phase Superman at his lower level if those numbers are accurate.

Gohan was outclassing him and even equaling him at his strongest form (Super Buu w/ Gotenks absorbed)

With that said, none of them is even in the same class as Super Saiyan 4 Goku who was used in this match.

And since that shyt isn't even part of the real story. Superman wins 10 times out of 10.

its Goku all day as far as who i ride with but before they were even a third way done ANALYZING and interpretating Goku's skillset (this was BEFORE they even got around to Superman's or the actual fight) i knew they were setting ol boy up for that L.

As soon as they threw powerlevels to the bushes i knew kakarot was gettin thrown to the bushes.

thing is tho, i can't say i disagree with their logic.

However, I would say that Goku had ol boy beat at the very end when he hit him with the SS4 kamehameha... unfortunately ol boy blasted him straight into the sun... as opposed to off in distant space anywhere else where Supes would've remained depleted/out cold (hibernated rest or whatever) and Goku would've had the TKO.

tho at that point Goku didn't know about the sun so it was only logical for him to try and dead dude that way, otherwise I believe Goku has shown the ability to alter the path of his kamehameha wave.

Given the groundrules that they laid down for both characters.. and the 'cellphone charger' relationship of Superman and the sun... Goku's best or only chance would be in whether he could instant transmission them to the undead world/kai's dimension or whatever its called... where he fought pikkon or janemba, or whatever. even still, they prob had a sun there. i really can't remember.

He actually has MORE moves and abilities than Goku. The shyt he can do is absurd. You ever heard of "combo vision"? Its when Superman uses his X-Ray vision along with his Heat Vision to attack your insides. He gave a dude a lobotomy with it.

Superman has massive energy reserves. He's like a super battery, even if you take him away from his charger, he still is on full until he runs out and I've seen this dude fight for over a YEAR straight without running out of power. Goku has NEVER gone that long without resting.

MIGHT be as strong?!? Dude, Superman is several BILLION times stronger than Goku and literally 5 times faster and billions times more durable. Look at those stats at the end. Do you have ANYTHING to refute that?

How do you know? Superman has been trained by some of the best fighters in the DCU like Batman and Wonder Woman. I wouldn't put him on Goku's level of skill, but they are close in skill than they are in strength.

he cant even teleport or do half the shyt goku does. i feel like theres something missing from their conclusion, although ultimately i do see superman prevailing over goku but in a setting away from the sun, and with kryptonite involved its an automatic win for goku.

Both of those instances would imply they are not on a neutral location.

if goku really needed 2 defeat superman, he would without a doubt incorporate kryptonite without even thinking twice, thats where the video downplayed gokus intelligence by having him destroy the kryptonite.
