Sony took a Venom movie to damn near a Billi and you guys are wondering why they feel they can survive this? Nobody....not even the Biggest Box Office Analyst thought that would be possible for a Non-Spidey Venom solo film. Matter a fact a lot of people thought "Venom" was gonna flop. Those numbers are HUGE because there was no Spiderman in the movie. Now imagine "Spiderman Vs Venom" that's a lock for huge numbers. Yes some people didn't like the movie but that has no relevance on the Box Office Success it had. "Venom" outgrossed every Phase 1 Marvel movie but "Avengers" globally.

All sold more tickets than both MCU Spiderman's. Also "Homecoming" and "The Amazing Spider-man" weren't that far from each other. Why are people acting like Sony didn't make Spidey hot? But to your point, Yes they have to prove they can do this again and that Venom wasn't just lighting in a bottle.

The last time the racist emailers and trump supporters couldn't get-along regarding Spider-man (early development of Civil War), Black Panther got the nod and became a global icon. So that'll always be my fondest memory of MCU Spider-man, if this really is the end.

Sony will take everything they soaked up from Disney, realizing great storylines will carry the universe. They have multiple examples now from the video game and SpiderVerse of how to tell a good Spiderman story. Can anybody honestly say Disney did that in either of its two chances? I'd say they were putting poison pills into Spiderman just in case they did decide to pull out. Making Tony so engrained in Spidermans story, revealing the identity. All the new Sony films have to do is reject everything Marvel tried to force on Spiderman fans that we hated. Make him acknowledge he looked up to Tony because he was desperate to fill the void left by Uncle Ben. Throw that bullshyt tech suit in the trash because Spiderman don't need no friggin tech:wow:. Find a way to get out of that identity revel nonsense that Marvel tried to pull to sabatogue the character.
Sounds easy . . . wait no it doesn't.

They did well with the character what a decade ago? lol Not saying they can't do well with the character going forward but it will not be easy. Venom might have done well financially but if you keep making mid movies you will get diminishing returns not build up the franchise. And if the former happens then what?

Yeah, it is beloved. It is the most successful franchise ever. They got capital with the public Sony doesn't.

So you can condone shady deals and injustice, just because the brainwashed public approves? Nice to know that......:leostare:

Kevin Feige Reportedly Helped Sony With VENOM And More Of Their Marvel Movies
170122.jpg

All signs are pointing to Marvel Studios' relationship with Sony Pictures being at an end. However, a new report reveals that Kevin Feige has been helping them with their Marvel movies for a while now...

Unless something drastic happens in the coming weeks, Spider-Man's time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has reached its end. However, with multiple reports doing the rounds about what comes next, some very interesting new details have been revealed about Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's involvement in Sony Pictures' Marvel movies.

Buried in Deadline's report about the split is the fact that Feige "lent an unofficial hand" to Venom, but that reportedly happened long before the final cut was delivered.

Instead, it was Sony Pictures boss Tom Rothman who "spent a good long time in the editing room" and, well, he was also in charge of Fox when those changes to Deadpool were made in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and for the release of the Fantastic Four reboot in 2015. That probably explains why Venom received a critical mauling when it hit theaters last October.

io9 also notes that Feige has contributed to a number of Sony/Marvel movies without being credited, so there's a chance he played a role in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse too. It's hard to say.

What are you guys hoping comes next for Spider-Man?

Now they tryin to give Feige credit for Spider-Verse. :dead:

Disney stannery knows no bounds. :hhh:

Wait a minute, what?!?!

:what:

MCU Miles ain't meeting T'Challa anytime soon breh.

In fact, you know Miles been in existence for damn near 10 years now and he's barely even been in the same panel as T'Challa? This nygga T'Challa saved him from being unjustly arrested by Captain Marvel for allegedly killing Captain America in the future (yea that shyt make no sense), and this lil mulatto nygga ain't even say thank you. :francis:

No wonder Kamala don't want him

Condone? What are you talking about? I'm just telling you what's reality.
I would prefer Spidey be in the MCU but if Sony makes good movies and a likable franchise I would be very happy with that to. But right now that's a question mark. :francis:
