He arguably lost to Trout and Lara. Cotto was beyond washed and he couldnt stop him. None of those wins though would tell me he is a level above Spence. Canelo isnt a level above anyone at 154, and I think spence would be competitive with all of the 154 champs

He doesn't GGG and Spence style fairly similar although GGG maybe a better technical boxer, and GGG took bombs walking Canelo down, you expect a lil man to go in with the same game plan without one punch ko power like ggg

Spence nearly fought half his fights at 154, I don't know why people seems like this is some Roswell ish....

I think Spence lands enough body shots by round 8 to eviserate Canelo's stamina..round 10th I can see Canelo getting dropped a couple of times.

I don't even like Canelo and think he still has GGG problems, but i think he would beat Spence relatively easily.
I think Canelo would be the better boxer and have better defense and could move all night like he did against GGG never allowing Spence to set on those body shots
And Spence is still easy to hit imo and Canelo would be the bigger puncher he faced






Yea I kind of think porter/garcia/thurman were ducking but there are still a lot of other people out there who would gladly fight Spence. Some even calling him out and yet I don't really see Spence being aggressive trying make those fights but we'll see. I hope this is not a situation where they going build Spence as a boogie man then keep pitting him against tomato cans he can knock out thus reinforcing the boogie man narrative without him fighting increasingly better comp. If he fights berto or some other PBC bum next I will be VERY disappointed
