your stars are but dust on my shoes
Anyone have any estimate on the profitability of hosting a boxing event in Cowboys stadium? I know the money almost always makes more sense in Vegas, but a fight between Spence vs Garcia or Canelo would do numbers out there.

Basically Canelo has to win very very decisively...he's going to have to drop and/or knock out the Triple Gawd
You've been calling for Canelos end now for awhile. I think this is the beginning of the end. Unless GGG comes into the fight over the hill (which could happen, as I said earlier this year that he only has maybe 2 fights left in him before he's washed) or Canelo somehow manages to embarrass him or knock him out, Canelos mystique/aura as boxing's biggest star is on its way down hill. Spence, Mikey Garcia, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder will all have a chance of being the face of boxing very soon, which is funny since all 4 are trying to fight right now instead of waiting. I'm picking Spence to be the next Cash cow, face of boxing...he's young, gifted, fights a crowd pleasing style, isn't loud--the anthesis of Floyd Mayweather Jr. Really all 4 are going to eat very well for the foreseeable future...all 4 should be on pay-per-view.

De la hoya has been getting happy taking about Spence over the last two weeks. He definitely wants him to sign to Golden Boy...

I want the fight because I got Spence beating Canelo but not yet. Spence vs Garcia..Spence vs Winner of Danny vs Porter..Spence vs Thurman...Spence vs Crawford

Then...we do Spence vs Canelo...

Floyd alluded to this fight happening 3 years ago in an interview he had right after the Berto fight. It will be a huge fight, but I'm not sure if it will have the same mystique if Canelo loses to GGG in similar or worse fashion than the last fight.

Yup, I remember back when Floyd said this and how sincere he sounded. He basically said the face of boxing/greatest of the next generation will come down to Spence or Canelo, and they'd meet in the ring for a superfight to determine it.

The 1st GGG fight and the ensuing PED shyt really threw a curve ball tho.

Yeah I think it will be a big fight still, but I think Spence name is rising and Canelos is falling. If GGG destroys him, I think his brand takes a permanent L. Honestly I think Oscar and Canelo have really fukked up his brand already. By the time Spence and Canelo meet Spence might possibly be the A side.

Spence is in a really rare position. Everything lines up for him to be top dog this generation. He can fight anyone from 147-160, the top dog Canelo is on his way out, Mayweather is gone, and he has a dedicated fan base. Hes young, talented and hasn't even fulfilled his limitless potential. Most fighters have to work there way up through years of winning belts at lower weight classes by the time they reach Welterweight and are ready for the super fights. Crawford, Mikey G, Danny G, etc all had to do that. Spence however doesn't have to do that, which means he still has a shyt ton of mileage on him. Spence truly would have to fukk up for him to not be the king..the crown is literally waiting for him.

Unless he goes through some sort of personality change like Floyd did how exactly do you think Spence is going to attract mainstream casual attention?

spence doesnt have to be floyd to catch attention...just be a bad motherfukker that goes all out
