Aldis really delivered. DC def needs to give him a lane to lead be pivotal. IMO The Rock was the Rock but Aldis really owned the character looking back. May be a good thing he isn't casted as the new BP as he'd prob have to fight being in Chadwicks shadow.
Saw it today
I enjoyed it, actually the rock played it very well.
You will notice a trend, a trend with actors who play superheroes that everyone thought they couldn't pull off.
They did it with Ben Afleck when he played Batman, and now they did it with the rock in Black Adam.
You know what it is? Very little talking, mostly physical acting.
In any case I enjoyed it, I liked that Black Adam did not fly like Superman, instead he kinda mostly flew in a hovered position, looks more fearless.
Action scenes were good but I didn't like how the Justice League came at him, the JL members should not be acting like that with this kind of superpower.
The way they approached him was amateurish, Batman would never have agreed to send these idiots to speak like that with this guy.
Also the skeletons were badly done and super weak, you got this massive demon superpower and he wakes up these weak ass zombie skeletons that the fat electrician beat up like they were a joke.
Other than that I liked the movie, they just chose the wrong JL members man.
But I enjoyed it, I would give it an 8/10.
Feels like perhaps one of the worst movies I've paid $ to see in some time. Many are more poorly made but none thought they were "important" the way this does. A massive swing and miss IMO.
Rocky came out cooking fools and turning them to breadcrumbs
Did that first dude like
Aldis did his thing. We coulda called him Hawkeye the way his eyes were bugging outta his mask. Breh really did look like a hawk.
Black Adam split that dude in half like Kratos. Turned him into the Crimson Jihad. Tell em The Man in Black sent you.
Lorne Balfe did his thing with the score too. Brought that epicness that matched all the epic action. There was this persistent leitmotif that reminded me of "Where the Hood At." You can hear it in "Not a Hero."
Since they were throwing the roc up all throughout the movie, fukk critics, they can kiss The Rock's whole a$$hole. If they don't like his movie, they can press fast forward.
I think who ever the head person in charge just do not give a fukk about captain marvel but that really true about all the dc superheros if it not batman or something relate to batman it like they can gave less than two fukk about it

Calling him Shazam ruins the character in story too:
1) He can now say the word without transforming which is his signature weakness.
2) His sidekicks can't have names like Mary Marvel/Captain Marvel Jr./Sgt. Marvel/ Lt. Marvel...they're all just "Shazam".
You're right, the last 3 years DC's direction is Batman OD.
