That's the huge problem in our community. We have a whole layer who is coddling criminal activity and devious mindsets. Folks can commit all the crimes they want and you better not say anything about it because you are a snitch, rat, tattle-tell, but then if you bust back when they are stealing your property, then you are wrong because they could have been reformed or some such nonsense. In other words, just let the criminals do whatever they want to do and you got to pay for their actions.
Reality is most people can't afford to get another car if you roll off and steal their ride. They can't get to work and they don't have the money to get another one. Now they are facing extreme economic hardship because we need to baby criminals. Nardo Wick was on the Big Facts podcast talking about why get a job when you can rob and all the grown hosts were laughing and sympathizing with that nonsense instead of telling him that prison comes with that or death.
Somebody better start telling these young boys and men the truth. You break into peoples' houses and cars, those might be your last minutes breathing. You're acting like a bullet from a 13 year old won't kill someone. Young jackers pack pistols too If you're breaking into people's property late at night, nobody is going to do a background check on you and verify if you are carrying a weapon. They will most likely assume you are armed.
The Bible literally tells you the wages of sin is death, so maybe spend more time teaching your kids not to break into people's property.
Nobody can identify your age late at night, nor can they determine if you have a weapon or not. They see somebody breaking into their property and will go into defense mode. They don't know what this person is going to do next if you spot him. Who knows if he won't come into your house and shoot you because he thought you witnessed his crime?

Damn, not too far from me. Break-ins have been way up especially in Brookland. Yeah, it’s really bad in the city right now. A junkie tried to nonchalantly open my car door and it was only 8PM. If it ain’t some hot young nikkaz lookin to crash out it’s some zombied out fiend tryna steal shyt so my head stay on a swivel.
Ultimately, it’s just a car so no big deal but some people take their property more serious than others. And like other people said, play stupid games win stupid prizes. You don’t get to be a menace and not eventually run across someone that refuses to be victimized.

I may not be the most religious fellow but you may be misinterpreting what “thou shall not kill” means. I’m pretty sure this is in reference to murder, much different than killing in the name of self defense (of yourself and/or property). That youngin caught justice, now we pray he’s resting in peace

The law is all over the place in this matter too. There’s been cases where the owner has been charged for shooting someone in this same instance and cases where they are not charged at all.
