Would the cops have showed up on time? If they had, the kid would have ran, and possibly been shot anyway. Clearly, calling the cops isn’t working. Would they have done an investigation, and found him? No.

What’s the purpose of calling the cops? They gonna be there in a hour and pretty much tell you they ain’t gonna be able to do shyt about it.

This is what happened in my case. I filed a report and the car was found totaled in another cities less than 12 hours later. Insurance gave me like a week of rentals at like $50/day but beyond that I had to pay for a rental myself on top of having to find and buy a whole new car. That shyt could have turned my life upside down if I had to commute to work or if I didn't have car insurance.

It's hard for people to have compassion in these situations when it's very obvious that the offenders have zero compassion for you and are even prepared to take your life it comes down to it.

It's unfortunate that this kid lost his life but you can't keep gambling in the streets without eventually hitting the jackpot.

Anyone who lives in DC knows that arm carjackings committed by youths is out of control right now and it’s also starting to spill into parts of Northern VA as well. People are getting fed up with it since the cops here won’t do anything about it unless it results in a homicide.

Granted this child didn’t deserve to lose his life like that but why was he out at 4:00 AM in the morning unsupervised and where was his parents in all of this?? Those serious question we need to ask first. We need to start holding these irresponsible parents more accountable for their actions because it all starts at home. It’s a tragedy that this young breh lost his life but this all could of been easily avoided and I will leave it at that.
