Production credits don't change with genre. Literally, if all you did was submit a beat, and when you heard it again, it had vocals and other elements added, you can't claim credit at least not sole credit. You could lose the entire production credit doing that and no one would be cheating you out of the credit.
If I make a beat and send it to Dre, but I hear my beat on the radio and it's a brand new song with Outkast over my beat. When the credits are released and it reads:
Song title
Produced by Dr. Dre
All instruments: JustCKing
^^^ I can't get mad at that because I wasn't in the lab with Kast and Dre when they made the song. They had a beat, went in and made a song and probably made changes so that it sounds and feels like a Kast song that Dre produced.
Now if I go in with Kast and we make a song with my beat, but Dre comes in and adds touches, I am still a producer. At most, Dre would get credit as an additional producer.
