Showing up and lifting is half the battle but if he doesn't eat a caloric surplus he will remain a twig. He can get some neurological adaptations from lifting to make him stronger that way but that has its limits.

Make sure your form is right find a weight that doesn't compromise your form cause your struggling so hard to lift it and do hella reps. Especially for a skinny breh like Offset. I personally use either 25-35 lb dumbbells, and squeeze at the top of every rep, while slowly going down with the weight
