Nobody expects him to be Aaron Donald but struggling with 20 lb dumbbells is a sign he doesn't actually either train hard or eat properly considering he's skinny as hell

That's the problem. Everyone says they got of decade of training and can't remember they were struggling with light weight year 1.

Give him some time to build himself up. Nothing wrong with posting a workout when it can motivate people who don't train to get started.

Plate watching will always be corny.

No the problem is everybody going into the gym doing a little weak ass workout with shytty form for a week then posting it everywhere looking for likes then quitting when they don't see themselves become ving rhames in a two weeks rather than consistently going, taking it seriously and posting a real before and after.

Idk breh....the weight room is very unforgiving to skinny people. That's why I hate personal trainers who get fat and overweight people bullshyt exercises.

Fat people are naturally strong with their starting strength.

Offset should be doing calisthenics that work better for his ectomorphic frame until he can put on some mass from them before clanging and banging. But if he eats and stays in the gym he will be fine. But my goodness he is weak AF naturally

All yall gotta do is shut the fukk up lift and eat right take a progress pic every 3 months and maintain progressive overload and you'll be good.
I go in the gym and see half yall fukkin talkin got 2 hours and looking the same I don't wanna hear it. Everybody want quick results nobody wanna grind for real. The motivation should be seeing that weight and number of reps go up each week not likes on social media. Plenty of people got before and after pics where they silently grinded for months if people want motivation smfh

Man there’s a lot of dudes exposing themselves in this thread.. isolating your biceps via the preacher curl with this type of weight is how you do this exercise.

I personally use either 25-35 lb dumbbells, and squeeze at the top of every rep, while slowly going down with the weight

Some of yall need to actually hit the gym and stop pretending like you do
