Honestly there's no reason to go super heavy on bicep curls. Make sure your form is right find a weight that doesn't compromise your form cause your struggling so hard to lift it and do hella reps. Especially for a skinny breh like Offset. I don't see why someone would mock him for this:manny:

I would even say he needs to go lower but that ego a motherfukker.

I would tell him to grab something lighter just to get used to the weight, proper form without strain, and to warm up/burnout.

This how motherfukkers get hurt. Heavyweight on Bicep curls is OD to me at this age. It’s useless… even more so if you end up tearing a fukkkin bicep (tore mines, not fun and wasnt even curling).

If anything, like someone said, he should focus on pulling exercises to build strength/mass and light bicep curls to top the shaping of it off.. if thats his goal.

If Offset was straight up hitting 100+ curls then I would assume he was in the gym awhile, a prior athlete where weigh-training was strenuous, or the size of Method Man after he decided to take his weightlifting serious



Which is like my size now. Offset struggling with 40’s isnt a shock or surprise. We all start somewhere and from what ive seen he definitely just begun

That weight is only acceptable when doing very high reps. Gotta start somewhere though :yeshrug:I wouldn't have let him post this

If you acknowledge that he is naturally weak due to a genetic lack of muscle mass, why not applaud him for finally getting in the gym and trying to do something about it? Instead of hating on him for not being able to lift more?

Also - I’ve met some weak fat people. And the long term health complications from being morbidly obese dramatically outweigh the long term health complications of being naturally skinny and not strength training.

I just want Offset to stick to skinny muthafukka exercises until he can build some mass...shyt like push ups and pull ups. He doesnt need to hit iron until he is truly ready cause he is gonna look weak at the start...but if he eats and sticks with it he can be chiseled and lean as fukk like a sculpture naturally....ectomorphs got it good, they just don't realize it.

That’s because being skinny doesn’t pose the same health risks as being obese. Skinny people still need to strength train though.

If you are really weak and frail, it’s probably safer to start with light free weights as opposed to body weight exercises. You may not be strong enough yet for that.

This. The non-gym goers really telling on themselves. The bar itself weighs between 20-45 pounds and each weight is 40 pounds. He's doing arm curls with a minimum of 100lbs, it may be more, depending on how much the bar weighs. The only curling action some of the posters here see is lifting a pepsi bottle or cheeseburger to their mouth.

He was curling something more like this
