i'll never forget how there was a topic on the hip hop subreddit about how common was against interracial dating. everybody in there was calling him a racist and a bigot

i tried to explain the historical context behind interracial relationships and why common believed black men should strive to be with black women first and foremost...and got downvoted to hell and called a racist too

i still go on there because often times it's a great source for information but i'm never gonna defend that place against those who call it a shythole. because it is

I dont frequent reddit that much but when I do go on reddit I fukk with /r/: dropshipping, entrepreneur, newjersey, newark, house or bestof... I usually go to those subreddits, check the top topics from the past month to see if there's anything interesting and keep it moving

I'm surprised it took so long for mainstream media to comment on the virulent racism that blacks receive daily on the internet. I was beginning to think it was only white feminists that got hateful comments online. I see so many brothers and sisters who actively avoid reading the comment section of websites because the racism is just so pervasive. I'm sure it's even traumatic for some of us.

I definitely don't care about a bunch of privileged white feminists who are posting on their MacBook Pro about how hard they have it. The racist comments following the Zimmerman Trial, Ferguson, and the Eric Garner case are far more troubling and made me so angry that I could feel it physically affect me.
