Zeke deserved to get paid. 2 rushing titles in 4 years and he a running back. They couldnt afford to let dude sit-out last season. And yall wouldve been pissed if they did. But regardless, the contract is designed to where they can cut him after 2 seasons. Those last years dont have any significant dead cap hits.
What makes you think he was going to sit out the season and forfeit game checks?

This dudes obsession with zeke is just....weird. we're supposed to pretend zeke hasnt outperformed henry since the time they were drafted? Why cherry-picky when one guy is playing with multiple UDFA on the line? Dudes acting like henry is a bargain, he getting paid 13m next season too just like zeke.
This is all revisionist history and bad faith arguments lacking context. Many just dont like zeke for personal reasons. That much is clear.

Even if it is revisionist history, it stings that the 3rd highest paid player on our team is massively underperforming.
At this point, anyone saying they would rather Zeke and Jaylon over Ramsey and Henry should not be taken serious, AT ALL

See but you're speaking in very strict hypotheticals. You act like we were guaranteed to take Ramsey and henry. I havent read anything that indicated that. They probably wouldve taken jaylon no matter what given the fact they thought he was a huge steal in the 2nd. And yes zeke is underperforming but it's hard for me to look at the injuries we've sustained and his performance prior to this season and come to the conclusion he is washed at 25. We drafted zeke and paid him with the idea that we would have an elite line and run it down teams throats. For the most part, that's exactly what has happened the last 4 years. We lost 3 all-pro lineman this season and starting 2 legit UDFA at tackle, I mean that's the context this dude is just ignoring.
