The Bears might be willing to give up 2 picks for Dak. Foles is playing terrible, and they can't get any of the top QBs this year, because their defense is too good.

Fields floor as a QB is Dak. His ceiling is a bigger version of Russell Wilson. You have to draft him if you can. We will basically have a late round 1st with our early 2nd rounder, so you can draft a good Defensive player at either CB, LB, or Safety. And keep drafting defense the rest of the rounds.

Our future offense could be Fields (on a rookie contract), Lamb, Gallup, Cooper (if we don't cut him), Zeke, Pollard, and Cedric Wilson for the next 4 years. Plus, we would have a shytload of money to spend on defensive players in free agency. That would give us a 3-4 championship window.

If you're saying his floor is dak, you're basically saying he will perform as good or better than dak in his first season in the league. No rookie putting up those type of numbers or having a grasp over an NFL offense like that. The young QB's that win usually inherit great defenses and supporting cast. Young QB's that win are also the exception, not the norm. Guys like burrow, haskins, jones, watson, herbert, murray, etc...they usually lose in their first few seasons cause it takes times. Mahomes and goff were exeception. If we spend our top asset (the pick) on a qb, we're gonna have to rely on free agency to sign dudes. We've seen how that's worked for us.

9ers DO NOT have their QB. I'm not sure Shanny would take Dak, though...and coming off that injury I would feel uneasy paying him the money he wanted.
