The 215
Dead last in INTs. Dead last in INTS since 2011.

Seriously just think about what this team would look with 25 interceptions (Patriots) instead of just 7. Imagine what this offense would look like with all of those short fields. I need more than pretty well from this D, we need a more opportunistic D that will create turnovers to change the momentum in a game.
Int are cool no doubt but even without them look at the scores in a nice amount of those games against playoff teams. They limited the score enough where the offense had a chance. The GB game is the only one I could think of against playoff comp where they just was ass against. I'm pretty sure y'all might have other games. Like I said int and turnovers in general are cool but holding opponents down is what really matters unless we talking some dfs stuff talking points that has some thinking the O is better than it truly is. Like I said before the D can definitely improve so I'm not saying that at all just they aren't bad as some think outside of stats.

The McCarthy and Rivera hires are a wash. I would say McCarthy is probably a very slightly better overall HC than Rivera. But the Redskins hired a much better DC.

Did you see the 2019 defense? Honestly I see a bunch of Cowboys fans talking themselves into this hire instead of being impressed by the hire. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but this feels like it's going to end the same way it has with the last 3 coaches. The fact that people call him a better Garrett is not good, and if people actually watched the Packers games with MM you'd see just how lame his offenses were. Rodgers made the most out of those terrible offensive schemes.

Again why are you even a fan of the Cowboys if you have zero hope?

It's like you have battered wife syndrome.

Offense isn't the problem with this franchise.

Don't let the numbers fool you...the offense is way to inconsistent...

How many 3 and outs we have in that Eagles game where they just kept getting a short field to work with?

Bart Scott said other NFL teams felt the Cowboys were mentally weak under Jason Garrett. :snoop:

Not surprising. You could see it on the field.

Even the trash as jets knew if they just came out and punched the cowboys in the mouth they could win that game...with a qb getting off his deathbed

I understand and feel what you and philmonroe are saying about the O but a few of those deficiencies are because of Garrett. On the road, he's conservative as fukk and has been so for most of his tenure.
Sometime we'd have matchup advantages going into road games and he call a coward-like game.

Another reason why his time here was on some yo-yo, 8-8 shyt.

I don't know about McCarthy and am worried he's only slightly better than Garrett but I do like how he's supposedly embracing analytics and has a team for it. Let's hope this makes him more aggressive.
