Three games of 6+ turnovers from a point guard.

Also, you have any examples of better players playing worse and consistently as bad as him in the SL? Normally, a player will show flashes of what theyre capable of, but to have zero after 3 games?

11/25 FT so 44%.. D'Andre Status... Hack-a-For coming up?
19 TO in 4 games for a big man that dont carry the ball up all game (thats 4.75 per game)

Towns
12/36 33% FG%... hes 2ft from the rim and shooting 33%???
0/4 3pt 0% Dude cant even hit a NBA distance 3????
11 TO in 3 games, mean while hes a big man not carrying the ball all game (Thats 3.667 per game)
22 personal fouls in 3 games... yes thats enough to get you kicked out a couple games....twice. 18pf in 2 games? Does he play D or just slap people?

But if your basing careers off Russels summer league, are you comfortable in saying Okafor the goat is Deandre Status FT shooter? A Turnover machine as a big man? How about Towns? Will he EVER hit a 3 int he nba? Will he foul out by halftime every game? How many shots will he need to average 20? At 33% and no 3s...30 shots?

My point is you all sound silly judging a rookie on his summer league play, and if that is where you get your facts from... Porzingis is the ROY this year

My biggest problem with russel is not really what hes doing on the court its is ability i question, He cant beat his man off the dribble... he just cant.



And we need to dead the curry comps, curry is the greatest shooter of all time. I see Russel as a good starter but not a star like most, kinda like a bootleg Damian lillard.

The lack of athleticism is my only concern. With the turnovers I can at least see what he's thinking. A lot of the turnovers were him expecting his teammates to cut one way and they cut another or just flat wasn't looking for a pass. Those will be cut down with familiarity. Also not helping that it seems noone knows where they are gonig on the court or what they are doing on offense.
