@Poitier already answered, but I'll add my own 2 cents. He has great vision, but a couple fancy passes that make oohs and ah's out of the crowd doesn't mean he's a point guard. He got away with that at the college level against college competition. He had a high usage rate at OSU d/t their lineup, and was bound to put up numbers on that team. His numbers against top 60 opponents or NBA level athletes are very poor. He has never been a true PG. At montverde, kasey hill was PG. Russell is an off-guard or just a "guard" period with below average athleticism, a decent shot out to the college 3 (TBD on NBA 3), and good playmaking ability/vision.
