I think people recognize it's just summer league but don't think people don't see his short comings and if those short comings continue to give him problems, it's gonna be hard to start him & get him the necessary development on a team with Kobe/Lou/Clarkson/Nick. I really hate this situation for him with all these guards who may pass it to and never see it again.

Let me get this straight, you're saying a 10 year Nba veteran who just won sixth man of the year and averaged close to 20 a game is better right now than a 19 year old with three games of summer league experience?

D'angelo coming off the bench breh

Kasey Hill was the point guard only because he had too much talent to bring off the bench. If you ask Billy Donovan or any coach on any level in basketball who would they rather have running the show for them Russell or Hill who do you think they would choose?

Be honest when you answer. Who do you think they would choose?

Kasey Hill graduated a year before him. What was he doing his senior year? He's a guard that can play either position. He's simply not playing well.

Kasey Hill is a pure PG, d'angelo is not, which is the point of this thread and my comments. Put d'angelo last year on another team with a competent guard outside of shannon scott and he's playing the 2 or backing up at the PG spot. He would not have started over tyus jones, tj mcconnell, and many other pure PGs. He played primary ballhandler by default at OSU out of necessity. Were he at florida, he would start in the backcourt with hill, and not in place of him.

Kasey Hill was also a senior and was better than him at that time, and he has to play a position too. And since D'Angelo was/is a better shooter why not have Kasey handle the ball?

He's a guard who can play either position. This distinction you're trying to make doesn't really work especially as he's played the lead guard/point guard for Montverde, the same at Ohio State and now is being groomed for that position with the Lakers.
