You speaking on yourself, you're not even talking about what we are talking about, this thread is about cyber punk and we talking about the game

why are you talking about

You're out here turning every post into a statement about how someone can't drive, some random grievance with the "modern gamer", or clearly being confused about when to use "why" or "what".

Some people are cool with the driving in this game, some aren't. It really isn't as serious as you're making it. I'd say the reaction is expected, since this is the first time CDPR has had to develop any form of movement faster than a horse.

Finished it last night...while it was a fun and great game it was nowhere near what they hyped it up to be and when you take into consideration how long this was in development...pretty disappointing...

Would have been nice if the life path you choose locked you into the specific endings, instead of if you do all the missions you have the chance to get all the endings...and the endings all correspond to a life path you choose in the beginning...that would be one of several things that would keep me playing this...

As it stands...won't be coming back to this until they release some story DLC...probably won't come back to it until they release all the DLC for it...and after I do that won't ever touch it again...

Johnny Silverhand character became incredibly annoying...i hate dude bro frat cacs and he is the ultimate...dude bro frat cac...

Unbelievable that in 2010 Obisidian could make a game, Fallout New Vegas, that actually had real consequences for siding with factions and at some point progressing with one faction would lock you out of doing missions for others...yet in 2020 CD Projekt Red couldn't figure it out...so they toss in the "fixer" element...

Quickhacking enemies is even better than it looked in the trailers though...especially once you get epic, legendary, and rare hacks...

driving in first person is one of the best parts of the game to me, people who complain about the driving, sum up whats wrong with today's gamers

they never want to take the time to master the game and learn how to play the game with the mechanics given, they want everything to be easy mode soon as they start, if you top and actually look at the road, and not try to turn corners like 100 miles per hour, you can control your car, paying attention while navigating the streets is added dimension to the gameplay I've never seen in an open world like this, and is the only open world game will driven is actually apart of the game play

Look I like the game just as much as the next person, but the driving is ass. It's Just Cause 3 levels of bad.

I think the most frustrating thing is that everything y'all have been saying about crafting rings true, but you really don't get the context for it until you hit 18 intelligence, and invest perk points to get rare and legendary items . That's a HUGE investment both in time and skill points. Even if you poured every point into Tech, that's easily getting yourself to mid game before crafting pays off the way the game clearly wants it to.
that was kinda my point. sure crafting might trivialize upgrading, but you need to invest a lot in crafting to get to that point

I actually liked his missions and storyline but once I started getting smiley faces back to back to back like that in rapid succession? :scust:

this is one of the more subtle problems with the game tbh

Judy actually does something similar, their characters are partially designed to be romance options for the other gendered V but they come off as super weird if you not going for and that

and especially when they don't want you

Yeah. I knew ahead of time Judy wasn't gonna let V throw her in the holonotes with GTD next to her name since I played as a guy, but if she were a real person, she was sending out mixed signals for a bit. Even after she says you're not her type, she still texts and speaks in a somewhat flirty manner, but then tells you to stop being weird if you choose any of the flirtatious dialogue options that are still there, despite her letting you know it's not happening. Every interaction with River that isn't directly related to combat or investigation is CLEARLY geared toward him getting the two of you stuck on an undercover assignment in poundtown. Kerry is just as bad. Some of the calls to open his missions are kind've funny, but you spend most of your conversations wondering if the real point of the missions is to start a duo called Buss Cracks. :dame:

Honestly I disagree on the life path stuff. I wouldn’t like to be stuck in a predetermined result based on a decision I made just starting the game. I agree some of the decisions could hold more weight, but at the same time from the devs perspective, most people won’t even finish the game let alone play it multiple times.

Going from how they handle playing to get the majority of the other ending options, I'd say they're definitely not expecting people to play start to finish multiple times.

The times your life path matters are nice, though. It'd just be nice to see more of it, and in a slightly more meaningful way.

Yeah, I save frequently and try out different stuff. Don’t think I’d play the entire game again.:manny:

its okay to not like characters and have that part of the experience imo

i think its dope that ev can appear to be one thing then end up being something entirely different. river going from being a hardened detective to a fukkin simp that needs to reevaluate his career path. judy goes from porno editor to a low key pioneer in BD growth - while realizing she ain't built for the goon life the same time you as the main character does.

shyt - if we're being honest, panam is trifling as fukk :mjlol:

i'm cool with characters showing so much range and i think that its one of the best things about this game. i hope its in others. characters aren't just something to fukk on. they grow, do shyt you don't like, hell - with river you're basically just trying to manipulate him once all the heavy shyt is wrapped up. case solved, but nothing really in it for you. so you come through that awkward as cookout (hella awkward if you're playing as female V :hhh:) and that dude is just being pathetic all around while the rest of the family hopes you pull him out of the disgusting pit of self-emasculation he falls into. got the loot and dipped the fukk out. ain't answered that weirdo's texts since

and i think its great that you pretty much get walked through all the steps of a once promising-now shytty character arc. its not appreciated enough. even silverhand - that dude is SUPPOSED to be a jackass. and its hilarious because they keep track of all the times you agree with him and like a true douchebag he spins those moments on you every chance he gets afterwards.

hating characters for good reasons is something to be valued
I ignored cool/cold blood but that's because with a good sniper rifle and the stealth quickhack tree you almost will never have encounters where you're fighting multiple guys at ones. Dudes are dead before they know youre there.

When i do a melee build i plan to jump into cold blood
I think stealth or cold blood has some weird shyt like a flat +15% damage to all headshots. Its pretty early on and fukking ridiculous. Also, when leveling Cold Blood - you actually gotta take that first perk that states Cold Blood will stack to actually level that perk tree. Otherwise it'll never go anywhere

shyt like that should be explained waaaaaay better. Its too hard to search around and see what perks are active and what they do exactly.

I made one post about driving, and when were talking about driving, somebody replied to me

what is your problem, you making up crap, and you derailed the thread because you reply had nothing to do with the topic or the game

keep that corny shyt yourself, don't even respond to me if you not talking about, you lame ass lonely ass nikkaz always do this shyt crybaby

Yes nikkaz can't drive, if you sliding over the road, and hitting stuff its because you can't drive, you have to control the car that's part of playing the game, figuring out how to drive smoothly is apart of the game play the game isn't going to do it for you, that's the point I was making what is your problem exactly, can you be a man and just say it instead of making shyt up

No it's not, its way better than just cause

People just don't want to effort in driving, they want to speed wreckless and wonder why they are out of control, they can't drive

somebody who complained about batmobile in arkham knight, they can't drive, most people can't drive in real life, so I understand, but driving in these games are nowhere has hard as it seems to be, its sad
