it is ridiculous when sold to homes with about 10 feet of viewing distance and a bunch of guests on the sides who see a shyt view of the action. since 3d it has been clear that tv manufacturers are struggling and desperate for something to make people stop looking at tablets. they want to nip a migration toward portable screens in the bud but dont really know how to do it
