The issue is he wrestled the gun and charges weren't filed. He's getting off since he is presumed innocent until guilty.

Did the meth heads walk up to and put hands on you? Then you would have the right to inflict harm. As some folks been saying, some of yall either dont have property to defend, or have no clue how self defense works. Someone approaching then grabbing YOU on YOUR property after you told them to leave AND making death threats the whole time is more than enough to justify self defense. All you need is an imminent threat.

Although this whole country is fukked up I’m fortunate enough to live a civilized enough part of the country where the most reasonable response to an unarmed man yelling at you in front of your house is not to retrieve a shotgun and kill him
