Go straight for the Sapphire Preferred if you like.. Chase will perform the same credit pull/check for any three of those cards. The Freedom and Slate have no annual fees. I believe the Sapphire is $99 bucks a year annual fee plus the Sapphire is good if you travel alot cause you can transfer the points you earn to the hotels and airlines that Chase has lined up with that card. I think the Amex card that goes head up with the Sapphire is the Amex Gold Premiere Rewards card but that's a annual fee of $190 a year but you do get a $100 travel credit a year to use for baggage fees, onboard entertainment, and onboard food. But if you don't fly and utilize the hundred dollar credit then your paying the entire $190 a year.damn breh that's a helluva comeback. i'm in the 780s. only two CCs one w/ Bank of America and one is the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Card. how is that Sapphire tho? i know it feels like a stick of gold in your hands. @pete clemenza you still think it's better than the Amex cards? if I have no relationship w/ Chase would I have to get the Freedom/Slate first before jumping to Sapphire?
Chase Freedom is more for everyday spending and the Slate is basically for balance transfers because they'll have a 18 month 0% interest introductory period. But do a google search on whether Amex's MR points are more valuable than Chase Sapphire's UR points or vise versa. Also Chase Sapphire is made out of metal so panties might drop when you pull it out to pay for sh*t
