Hoping this doesn't come through and crush the buildings on rewards. I just got hip a few years ago to the value of switching primaries every now and then.Looks interesting:
Wells Fargo announces a new travel rewards card, the Autograph Journey — get 60,000 transferrable points and much more
Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) will debut the Autograph Journey credit card this spring, complete with transferable points and a top-tier rewards structure.www.cnbc.com
I stuck with a business card with a high cap for ages (partially due to the exceptional payment protection, large insurance on purchases, 2 years of extended warranty on top of what the product had) but switched to Freedom Unlimited Signature and ate off that unlimited 1.5+1.5 for the first year AND there is a plus up at 12 months for $300. That card alone is going to pay for a new computer. Add in occasionally signing up for introductory rewards cards that give $200 for a $500 purchase, the only downside has been the dip in credit age and that hasn't harmed anything that I can see thus far. Having good credit and using those rewards give some clutch added bonuses that can purchase the little wants for free when the needs are already taken care of.
